In the September 8 issue of “Page Six Magazine” inside the “New York Post” Rachel Uchitel speaks to Annie Karni about losing her fiancé on September 11, and how her life spiraled out of control immediately following this tragic event — most notably when her infamous affair with pro golfer Tiger Woods went public.

The 36-year-old candidly opens up about twice becoming famous “for something I didn’t want,” as well as turning into a “recluse” following the Tiger Woods scandal.

On losing her fiancé in the 9/11 terrorist attack:

“I believe Andy was meant to die because he was too good.  I’m almost happy it ended the way it did because I’ve learned so many lessons from him. It would have been tragic if we got into fights and then divorced. He lives on in my memory larger than life. I’m glad I didn’t get to see any flaws that time brings on everyone. I would [otherwise] be a fat housewife with three kids living in Sands Point, Long Island. I would have been fine, probably. I wouldn’t have known any different.”

On her reputation:

“For whatever reason, I rub people the wrong way. It’s been like that my whole life. I know I can come off as condescending and detached and rude. Girls usually hate me and the boyfriends have to pretend to hate me. But it’s because I’m so used to being on the defensive because people have always been out to get me. It’s a cycle that has kept repeating itself.”

On her gig as a VIP hostess:

“My experience meeting celebrities was that they were all miserable. I got to see them as real people and they were struggling and angry. I never wanted any of that for myself.”

On the after-math of the Tiger Woods affair:

“Men would make reference to the fact that they were huge Tiger fans. They felt like being with me was a trophy thing. People knew I had a lot of money and would ask me to buy them a drink. The whole thing was gross. ”

On her current love life with boyfriend Matt Hahn, 26, and starting a family:

“[My boyfriend Matt Hahn] is normal. He’s not a famous person. I find him to be grounded and I’m totally going to marry him. I never wanted [kids]…They kind of suck. I can’t deal. But I know how much I love my dogs and I think I’d make a good mother to my own kids.”

Thanks to this BP (Bad Planning!) worker costume, you’ll look like the real tongue-in-cheek deal. Or, you could get more creative and make your own costume by drenching yourself in black paint and attaching stuffed animals painted black to your outfit. Totally inappropriate? Yes. But come on, it’s Halloween!

There’s no denying it: There are many women, and maybe even some men, who’d love to give Tiger Woods and Jesse James a piece of their minds. How could a family man like Tiger ruin his marriage? How could Jesse James cheat on Sandra Bullock with tattooed skanks? Both stars are blaming sex addiction for their infidelity. But is it that simple? Are they really sex addicts or are they chronic cheaters who are using it as an excuse? While it’s controversial in medical circles, some experts do believe that sex addiction is real. Although the American Psychiatric Association does not include sex addiction in its handbook, the Mayo Clinic asserts that 3 to 6 percent of American adults are addicted to sex, according to CNN.

Diana Kirschner, Ph.D., author of “Love in 90 Days: The Essential Guide to Finding Your Own True Love,” says sex addiction is a real disorder that is similar to alcohol or drug addiction. She explains that a love of sex crosses the line into an addiction when “the person repeatedly manages their stress, emotional disturbance, suffering, or other problems by turning to a sexual outlet to diminish their upset.” Specifically, she says that the six fundamental signs of sex addiction are the following:

1. Engaging in sexual behavior frequently, to a greater extent, or for longer than the person intended.
2. Having difficulty stopping or controlling the sexual behavior.
3. Spending a large amount of time thinking about, procuring, acting out, or recovering from the sexual behavior.
4. Sexual addiction interferes with current relationships, work and/or financial responsibilities.
5. A sex addict needs to do more of the sexual behaviors over time to gain satisfaction.
6. If not engaging in the sexual behavior, the addict feels anxious, distressed, depressed or angry.

Infidelity expert Ruth Houston, author of “Is He Cheating on You? 829 Telltale Signs," agrees with Kirschner. “Sex addiction is real,” she says, “but it’s not as common as cheating men would like you to think it is. After the fact, many cheating men use it as an excuse for their infidelity or as a way to justify their behavior.”

So are Tiger Woods and Jesse James really sex addicts? Houston has her own theories.

“I believe that Tiger Woods is a sex addict and that Jesse James is not,” Houston says. “The women Tiger got involved with were easily within his reach; he didn’t go out searching for them. They were strippers, night club hostesses, all people he came into contact with while out eating or while out on the town. Jesse went out searching for a specific type of woman; he knew what he was doing, and it was contrived on his part.”

Houston further explains that “Sex addiction means taking risks that a ‘normal’ person wouldn’t take. Look at all the risks Tiger took–he didn’t even bother to use protection, and he had all these incriminating text messages and voice mails. He didn’t take the normal precautions cheating men would take. He was going hog wild! He’s an intelligent man who should know better, but his sex addiction was overcoming his common sense. The sheer number of women he slept with is outrageous. He was most likely engaged in this type of behavior before his marriage, and he never stopped.”

So is it possible to forgive a sex addict for their destructive behavior?

“It’s possible to forgive only if the addict gets help,” Houston says. “It’s a good idea to try to make the relationship work. There’s no ‘one size fits all’ when dealing with infidelity. Every woman needs to think for herself.”

Girlfriends and wives of cheaters often have “flashbacks,” which is the most difficult part of forgiving a cheater, says Houston. For example, when a cheater is on his cell phone, his wife wonders who he’s speaking to; when he’s away, she wonders what he’s doing. And it’s not so easy to forgive when mistresses keep popping up on magazine covers and TV shows spilling the details of perverted texts sent by the cheater.

As for Jesse and Tiger, they have both been kicked to the curb, as both of their marriages are ending in divorce. Houston blames the media in part for the couples’ inability to reconcile.

“Because of the media, their marriage problems were in their faces. It’s hard to put issues behind you when the media won’t let it happen,” she says. “If their marriage issues had not been public, these two couples may have been able to overcome this.”

There are a lot of bad people out there. A whole lot, actually. Celebrities pale in comparison to most of them, but let’s be honest, they’re much more fun to watch. Rich, pretty and talented (but not necessarily all three) people are regularly screwing up on a national and global stage. Most of it is forgivable, some of it isn’t, but all of it makes roll our eyes and shake out heads. And so because we can never get enough of captivating train wreck that is fame, here are the top 10 worst people in Hollywood (in no particular order).

Chris Brown

Everyone has pretty much moved on from the Chris Brown drama. It was a lot harder for Rihanna to move on, though, and that’s why Brown is one of the worst people in Hollywood. The seemingly squeaky clean R&B singer was arrested for and convicted of assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna before the 2009 Grammy’s. He’s since tried to clean up his image by apologizing and laying low, but after the world saw photos of Rihanna’s facial bruises, he’s not likely to succeed.

Tiger Woods

He may not technically be in Hollywood, but Tiger Woods is a major celebrity. Unfortunately, that celebrity has only recently reached Hollywood status with the revelation that he’s cheated on wife Elin Nordegren countless times. The number is certainly ambiguous, since a steady stream of hotties have claimed they’re among the ranks, but estimates are around 20. Not only is that a horrible thing to do to Elin, it’s a terrible thing that his baby son Charlie will have to reckon with someday. Of course, he’s apologized and tried to scrape up some dignity by returning to golf, but it’s fairly certain he’ll never live this down. A cheater is scum; a cheater times 20-something … there aren’t appropriate words for that.

Kate Gosselin

This woman just can’t control herself. She didn’t get off to a great start as the bitchy wife and slightly unfit mother of eight of “Jon and Kate Plus 8.” Her children became her ticket to fame, and she paraded them around endlessly. The country collectively shifted its hatred to Jon Gosselin after the couple split, but she hasn’t stopped being a greedy attention-whore. She recently appeared on — and even more recently voted off of — “Dancing With the Stars.” Rumor also has it Kate will have her own new show on TLC, without Jon or the kids. Thanks for ditching that awful hair Kate, but you probably shouldn’t ditch your children too.

Jon Gosselin

The Gosselins are probably the most obnoxious former-couple out there. Knowing that, it’s particularly nauseating that Jon has actually managed to sink way lower than Kate. He started off as the bitchy Kate’s push-over husband and everyone felt a little bit bad for the guy. Then suddenly, they were on the brink of divorce and the world realized he definitely deserved what he got from Kate. Since their split, he’s very publicly been with younger, trashy women. For some unfathomable reason, he began to see himself as a playboy, and acted like one. Nevermind that he’s an unattractive, still married father of eight — he ditched the family for parties and ladies (a term used extremely loosely here). He allegedly drained the couple’s bank account last October and the nanny said she was sleeping with him. Now he’s battling over money and custody with Kate … as if either of them wants the kids anymore.

Spencer Pratt

It’s rare to hear or read the name Spencer Pratt without it being accompanied by “tool,” “douchebag,” “asshole,” or “prick.” Unfortunately for Spencer and everyone who has to interact with him (or even watch him on TV), these descriptors are all very accurate. He just can’t keep his mouth shut, and it just keeps spewing obnoxious nonsense. In the past year or so, he’s continued to be the resident evildoer on “The Hills,” made a stink over tough conditions on “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here,” boasted he’d be the next big rapper (what ever happened with that, Spencer?), and been fired as his own wife’s manager. Ouch. The list could go on, but really, why bother? Spencer Pratt isn’t worth that much thought.

Heidi Montag

If Jon and Kate are the most obnoxious former-couple in Hollywood, Spencer and Heidi are definitely the most obnoxious couple. Marrying Spencer and being a bad friend and person on “The Hills” was pretty bad. Then she joined her hubby in throwing a ridiculous fit over “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.” Then she fired him as her manager. She released an album (who knew?) that only sold 658 in it’s first week, and her body is as fake as her personality. It’s only fitting that she join her equally stupid husband on this list.

Kanye West

It seems like everyone either loves or hates Kanye, and arguments for both side are reasonable. Overall, he’s really not so bad, but the “interrupting Kanye” incident gave the haters plenty of fuel. When he snatched the microphone from sweet, 19-year-old country girl Taylor Swift during his acceptance speech at the 2009 VMA’s and proclaimed that Beyonce had “one of the best videos of all time,” poor Taylor and the rest of the country was stunned. Several humble and occasionally tearful apologies followed, but it’s a bit hard to move on from a grown man ruining the biggest moment in the life and career (so far) of a 19-year-old girl. And as a result, everyone had to deal with endless “interrupting Kanye” jokes and memes for months. He’s not as bad as most of the others on this list, but he definitely earned a spot.

Paris Hilton

Paris has faded from the celebrity gossip scene a bit, but she’s still out there, reeking havoc on Hollywood. She’s been humiliating and degrading dumb, fame-hungry girls (and even a few guys) on “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” for two seasons. She threw a fruit and a serious tantrum at a girl who was talking to ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. Oh yeah, and remember when she went to prison for drunk driving with a suspended license? True, every celebrity seems to be driving drunk, but that doesn’t make it any less wrong. And honestly, this girl is a whole lot of wrong.

Perez Hilton

How fitting that Perez should fall onto this list with his (sort of) namesake. Perez is mostly harmless, though definitely annoying. What earned him a spot on this list, though, is his battle with Will.I.Am. The Black Eyed Peas star assaulted Perez when Perez called him a faggot, and there are a few problems with that. First of all, Perez is using a derogatory term for a group of people he belongs with. Really? That’s either some serious self-loathing or just plain stupid — probably both. Then, Perez decided to publicly whine about it as if he were a victim, especially when GLAAD called for an apology. So for insulting his own kind and helping to perpetuate the use of “faggot,” Perez is one of the worst people in Hollywood.

Lindsay Lohan

Poor LiLo. She’s last on this list for a reason, actually. It’s just too hard to tell when to hate her and when to feel bad for her. Either way, this girl is the definition of “hot mess” and has earned a tentative spot on this list. She was busted drunk driving, involved in a car chase on the PCH, accused of stealing jewelry from a photo shoot, and accused of stealing a formula for tanning lotion and selling it as her own. Her mom told the world she cuts her wrists and her dad has to be kept at a safe distance. Her probation since the DUI incident was extended because the judge felt she was still out of control. Her very public break up with Sam Ronson showed her to be a crazy ex-girlfriend. Most recently, she was fired from “The Other Side.” There’s surely a lot more, but the gist is that Lindsay is an irresponsible, emotionally unstable alcoholic who wasted her talent. It’s not always possible to tell when we should feel bad and when we should be disgusted, but there’s just enough of both to land her here. Sorry, Lindsay.

Apparently getting attention for infidelity isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Rachel Uchitel is complaining that she’s having a hard time meeting men, thanks to her very public relationship with married golf pro, Tiger Woods.  Her solution, according to a TMZ Exclusive, is to have a reality TV show find a single (yes single this time), man for her.

She was recently spotted in a Vegas dance studio prepping for a possible spot on the next season of "Dancing With the Stars".  But this new opportunity means we might be seeing her do more than dance in the coming months.

Sources say while in LA recently, she and her producing crew (including Scott Jeffress of “Jersey Shore” fame) were pitching networks including E!, Lifetime, Oxygen and VH1 to pick up “Romancing Rachel”, a reality TV show a la “The Bachelorette”, to find her a suitable mate.  E! and Lifetime have politely declined while Oxygen and VH1 still seem to be considering it.

Will Rachel be able to find true love on national TV? Or will "Romancing Rachel" end up with the likes of "Flavor of Love"? Thanks to her Tiger-ized fame, we may just get to find out.

Despite relationship troubles of his own, Jim Carrey has been very busy tweeting about Tiger Wood’s love life.

Carrey, who split with his long-time girlfriend Jenny McCarthy, announced the break-up via Twitter on Tuesday. Now, the New York Daily News reported, he’s stirring up controversy by tweeting his thoughts on Tiger and Elin.

On Friday, he wrote, “No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity. Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. kids/lifestyle ;^)”

That’s some bold speculation, and it wasn’t received well. Later, he tweeted, “I want 2 make it CLEAR that I do not condone infidelity at all, but 2 some degree the responsibilty 4 it is shared by both people! ;^)”

A rumor circulating around the Internet today says mega publisher Electronic Arts is fuming over the South Park season 14 premiere last week and plans to take Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of the cartoon, to court.

The episode, “Sexual Healing,” heavily featured Tiger Woods and wife Elin and the hilarious fallout between them, comedy only South Park can conjure up.

Naturally, a source inside EA, speaking with the Daily Informer, said that EA Sports boss Peter Moore knew of the episode and was ready for the fallout.

"Soon after the airing of the episode the top beef were called in, even Peter Moore was informed of the situation," said the source.

Now, Stone and Parker are familiar with lawsuits. Every episode likely irks one crowd or another. But it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out, if indeed the rumors are true.

He’s admitted his wrongdoings and will be back to the game next month at the PGA Tour’s most prestigious event, The Masters in Augusta.

EA Sports breathes a sigh of relief as the publisher, sticking with their man (and another), won’t have to worry about shipping a title with an inactive athlete.

“We’re looking forward to seeing Tiger back on the golf course,”  EA Sports executive Peter Moore blogged recently. “All eyes will be on Augusta in a few weeks.”

Woods was dropped by several sponsors, including Accenture and the future of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game franchise was in question, but no more.

Everybody, glad to see Tiger return? He’s doing it at the place he began his career and at a club with some of the most respectful and reserved galleries in the game. That’ll make it easier, right?

On this morning’s ESPN First Take, EA Sports boss Peter Moore revealed that for the first time, Tiger will share the cover in “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011.”

Alongside Eldrick (Tiger) Woods will be European sensation Rory Mcllroy on the cover due to the inclusion of The Ryder Cup Tournament in the game, a first for the franchise.

Moore iterated also that recent events involving Mr. Woods had nothing to do with him sharing the cover and that the cover will symbolize the game’s new two-player focus.

The game will also include 12 v 12 online matches representing the Ryder Cup where twelve will play as Americans and the other dozen as Europeans.

Tiger Woods, the professional golfer who found himself in an unmistakably horrible position following a day-after-Thanksgiving car crash and a series of unfortunate events that ensued, has been dropped by many sponsors, but not EA.

EA Sports remains steadfast in its commitment to keeping Tiger the cover guy for the PGA Tour video game series.

Following Tiger’s public apology on Friday, EA Sports boss Peter Moore expressed his continued commitment to the disgraced icon.

“It was good to see Tiger address the public today, and we’re supportive of his focus toward family and rebuilding his life,” said Peter Moore, president of EA Sports. “He remains one of the greatest athletes in history, and as a long-standing partner, we look forward to seeing Tiger back on the golf course when the time is right for him and his family.”

Rob Semsey, a senior PR manager for EA SPORTS, said the over ten-year franchise is going nowhere, with Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’11 slated for release on all major platforms, as originally planned, this June.

While Tiger may not return to actual golf this year, you can expect to see his digital version. I wonder if this hullabaloo will help sell more copies of the game, because for the first year ever, I may buy one.

At 11 a.m. at the PGA Headquarters in sunny Florida, mega golf sensation Tiger Woods spoke to a select few media for the first time since he crashed his SUV outside his home the day after Thanksgiving.

In the fifteen minute speech, Tiger relayed to the world how he acted selfishly and foolishly and how he deeply regrets what he did.

He admitted his infidelity and that he’s been in outpatient rehab for over 45 days and remains there until he gets a grip on his life back.

“I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did was unacceptable and I am the only person to blame.”

Tiger even brought up his Buddhist faith. He said he was brought up believing in it, but has, as of late, strayed for its ideals.

The entire speech felt pretty sincere and was accented by a strong closing statement relaying his need for help.

“Today, I want to ask for your help. I ask you to find room in your heart to one day believe in me again.”

According to TMZ.com, a woman has brought Vivid Entertainment what she says is a Tiger Woods sex tape.

But don’t rush off searching for it, because there are a lot of problems. First of all, Steve Hirsch of Vivid says they’ve only seen 30 seconds of the video and are still trying to ID people in it. What’s more is that Vivid would need Tiger’s signature to legally distribute such a video, and Tiger’s lawyers have already threatened legal action against anyone who tries to release photos or videos of him.

Seems like a nice move, but now TMZ.com reports that Tiger’s lawyers sent a letter to UK publications regarding a court order that, he wrote, “prevents the publication of private and confidential information contained in the Order…. this Order is not to be taken as any admission that any such photographs exist, and in the event they do exist they may have been fabricated, altered, manipulated and/or changed to create the false appearance and impression that they are nude photographs of our client.”

The order also covers videos, but the note also said that Tiger isn’t aware if anything even exists.

Trying to defend himself without looking suspicious? Not going well.

Publisher of the longstanding and highly popular “Tiger Woods” video game franchise Electronic Arts, firmly offered its support for the golfer today amidst a hailstorm of speculation surrounding a car accident near his Florida home last week.

“Our strong relationship with Tiger for more than a decade remains unchanged,” a spokesperson told IGN. “We respect Tiger’s privacy, we wish him a fast recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the golf course.”

As for Tiger himself, the man issued an apology on his official Web site yesterday, apologizing for “transgressions.”

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

Tiger Woods is clearly in some kind of trouble with the wifey.

We already heard his accident was caused by a violent argument with his wife about an alleged affair, but now TMZ.com is reporting that Tiger told a friend he has to “run to Zales to get a ‘Kobe Special,” which he then described as “a house on a finger.” The “Kobe Special” of course refers to the enormous $4 million ring Kobe Bryant gave his wife after all the nastiness in 2003.

As for the supposed affair, the woman accused of being Woods’ lover, Rachel Uchitel, is calling the rumor B.S.

Tiger Woods ran his Escalade into a fire hydrant on Friday, but according to TMZ.com, his facial wounds didn’t come from the accident.

TMZ reported that Woods had a “conversation” with someone in which he said that his wife caused the scratches on his face and the accident. Apparently, his wife confronted him about rumors of an affair. When the argument got heated, she started scratching his face. And when he tried to escape in his car, she followed wielding a golf club and took a few whacks at the SUV. Then, a distracted Woods was trying to see if there was any damage and he hit the hydrant and a tree.

Woods still hasn’t been officially interviewed by police.

EA Sports today named the winner and winning video in the “In The Game” Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’10 viral video challenge.

Paul Lowey, a 30 year-old aspiring film maker fromVancouver took home a check for $50,000 for the winning video and plans on furthering his passion for movies by upgrading his filmmaking tools, picking up a new camera, and taking his wife and daughter on a family vacation.

“I am extremely proud to have been selected as the winner of the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 Viral Video Challenge” said Lowey.‚  “I want to send a big thank you to everyone at EA SPORTS, Tiger Woods, the judges, my friends who helped me make the video, and everyone who watched and voted.‚  Words cannot adequately express how overjoyed I am with the response “In The Game” has received.”

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is back. It’s better. It’s … over. Damn.

While it still wasn’t the spectacle of the 90s, the conference was easily three times bigger than it was last year, and there was some actual news this time.

Here’s what we took away from the conference this time around:

BEST GAME
Uncharted 2

The first Uncharted is still one of the best games on the Playstation 3, and that’s not a knock on the console’s library either. This sequel looks to improve on the gameplay of the fantastic original, while also including a brand new multiplayer mode–one we will have impressions of for you in the near future.

Mario is back. This new four-player side scroller is the first game to remind us of the good old days since the good old days, except now, with that multiplayer involved, it gives you a reason to want to punch your friends in the face.

BEST XBOX 360 GAME
Mass Effect 2

Bioware is promising a darker, more developed game than the first, which is saying something considering how well-done the original was. We’ll need to see it for ourselves, but what we saw was impressive.

BEST PLAYSTATION 3 GAME
Heavy Rain
Sony/Quantic Dream

This is a sleeper, but IGN also recognized the potential for Heavy Rain by nominating it for Best of E3/Best PlayStation 3 game. Blast got to play a demo, and we were thoroughly impressed by the control, decision-making abilities, dialog, and visuals. This is an excellent-looking game.

BEST MULTIPLATFORM GAME

Rogue Warrior looked great in a demo, and nothing is cooler than getting to play out the experiences of a real life badass navy seal voiced by Mickey Rourke. This game is full of pure action, explosions, and a great mix of stealth and offensive firepower.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 Wii with MotionPlus

Wii MotionPlus adds an amazing new dimension of reality to games, but nowhere was it more noticeable than in the latest Tiger Woods game. You have to position your wrists straight and do a full swing with follow-through. The MotionPlus makes you get off your couch and actually do stuff, and where better than at a virtual Bethpage?

This ambitious massively multiplayer game promises all voice acting and no text dialog — thousands and thousands of lines of voice acting. And it’s Star Wars.

Mad Catz had Fender build them a real guitar, and instead of strings, they wired buttons into it and unleashed it for Xbox 360. It uses no dongle — it’s compatible with Xbox 360 wireless technology. It’s a real guitar, with wood and a shiny finish. If you like to play fake guitar, this is as close to real as it gets.

This is one of the first video games from a movie that stands on its own merits.

Biggest letdown: Atari. Where were you this year? One word kids: Ghostbusters. Or is that two words? Either way, with the failure of some recent releases, it’s the best chance for Atari to impress this generation. Despite a hell of a showing over the past year, the company hasn’t been able to blow up. Ghostbusters should sell millions, given it’s on every console, so let’s hope that’s a step in the right direction.

EA Sports announced a couple new and exciting features to be brought to Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’10 this June including a challenging “Live Tournament Mode,” as well as a new “Perfect Shot Practice Round” feature.

In tournament mode gamers can take part in three distinct events-Daily, Weekly, and Play The Pros.‚  The first two are self-explanatory as virtual golfers can take to the course and have their 18 hole scores posted on a leaderboard for all to see and attack on either a daily or weekly basis.

Interestingly, Play The Pros mode allows you to hit the links and at the end of the day see how your tally compares with actual PGA Pros on real-world courses.‚  Tiger, in his Sunday red doesn’t seem so scary anymore now does he?

The aforementioned Practice Round mode allows you to virtually walk the course, place the ball wherever you damn well please, and truly hone your game, you know, before you jump into a pressure-packed tournament.

And in case you’re into total authenticity, Rocco Mediate, the man who gave Tiger a run indeed at last year’s U.S. Open, as well as the up-and-coming Anthony Kim will make the final build come June.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’10 hits shelves June 16.

Gaming on the go via something other than a DS is rapidly growing in popularity due to the iPhone/iPod Touch so it comes as no surprise that major publishers are flocking to the handheld to make some quick cash.

Electronic Arts today announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour and Need For Speed Undercover arrived on the App store today marking the advent of two of EA’s largest franchises on the portable machine.

As you’d probably expect, both games take clear advantage of the systems’ accelerometer functionality both in drawing back and swinging the club in Tiger Woods and evading police cars in Need For Speed respectively.

Both titles look very robust as Tiger Woods allows users to play as a number of seasoned pros including the obvious Tiger Woods, Annika Sorenstam, Natalie Gulbis, Vijay Singh, and Reteif Goosen on 7 different real-world courses.

Need For Speed Undercover on the other hand allows for the total customization of 20 different models of cars and executing hairpin turns at 150 mph with the literal flick of your wrist.

Both Tiger Woods and Need For Speed will set you back $10 in the App Store.

The all time best selling golf video game franchise hits the links again this summer with heightened drama, new courses, a USGA championship, and MotionPlus support for Wii virtual golfers, Electronic Arts announced today.

Tiger Woods PGA 10, much like the man himself, plans a comeback with this year with a slew of new and dynamic game-play elements including expanded crowds surrounding every hole mounting the tension of a pressure putt, a real-time weather system directly effecting course conditions, and most intriguingly a new television broadcast style presentation featuring ESPN’s own Scott Van Pelt, and Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman.

“No player has elevated the game of golf more than Tiger Woods and we celebrate his return with a game that recreates the atmosphere of the PGA TOUR like never before,” said Executive Producer Mike Taramykin. “Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 continues the long-standing tradition of providing an authentic golf experience that is accessible to skilled and casual gamers alike.”

I’ve always enjoyed the Tiger Woods series of titles, and I appreciate and admire the stunning visuals and competitive online modes my 360 offers me, however, I must say the simulator type experience my Wii achieves trumps them all.

With PGA Tour 10, Wii fans can experience a true 1:1 swing relationship via the Wii MotionPlus accessory.‚  Shots can controlled and executed in an authentic matter, granting the player the opportunity to draw or fade a shot in the same, real life manner.

EA Tiburon is handling development of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, and Nintendo Wii this summer.

EA Sports announced Thursday further details regarding its upcoming All-Play line of games. The new Wii exclusive line encourages social play and features unique control schemes and presentation values designed especially to appeal to players of all skill sets.

“The Wii platform and the Wii consumer are looking for a very unique sports experience,” said Peter Moore, president of EA SPORTS.  “We’re excited to take five of our most popular franchises and develop them from the ground up exclusively for the Wii, with unique controls, unique presentation, unique modes and even unique packaging. Whether you’re an EA SPORTS veteran or a rookie gamer, EA SPORTS All-Play levels the playing field and delivers a fresh new gaming experience.”

All-Play will kick off mid next month when its first title, NCAA Football 2009 All-Play ships. Featuring the new simplified All-Play controls (as well as the traditional set-up for returning players), and a multiplayer experience that evolves based on skill sets, EA Sports taught NCAA Football 2008 All-Play as the most realistic college sports experience on the Wii.
