Think back to the last time you heard the name “Pacman” in a headline and it was associated with something positive. Maybe during the April 2005 NFL Draft? Probably.

Well, this time, Pacman Jones is being sued by his former agent/attorney Manny Arora, who claims that Pacman owes him some $10,000 in lawyer’s fees. Apparently, the Altanta-based attorney represented Jones or his family in 18 separate cases, which makes you wonder how the fees are only in the $10k range.

The Cowboys recently released Pacman after ESPN drudged up an old story that was already discussed a long time ago because that’s the type of news agency they are.

The suit lists Deborah Jones, James Jones, Lewis Kueffor and Fleming Daniels as the defendants that Arora assisted. The charges range from speeding to kidnapping and simple battery. Oh, and that’s right, Daniels actually was charged with murder. And you thought Pacman was the big a-hole? Sounds like he’s the choir boy in his family.

Pacman has been arrested six times and has been involved in a dozen incidents with the cops since the Titans drafted him in 2005.

Eh oh. If the goal of an NFL team is to be playing well at the end of the season then I’m not sure the Titans got that memo. Not only did they lose to the Houston Texans on Sunday, they have now found out that they will be without Albert Haynesworth (MCL) and Kyle Vanden Bosch (groin) until the playoffs.

“I look at this as good news, we’re expected to have them both back for the playoffs,” Jeff Fisher said.

Uh huh. This is a serious blow for the Titans in their quest for home-field advantage (they’ve already clinched the division and a first-round bye).

Albert Haynesworth is arguably the best defensive player in football. In 2007, he missed three games due to injury. They lost all three games. You get the point.

The Titans have been amazing this year, but they haven’t been blowing people out. They grind it out and make you earn it. Without Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch, you can move the ball and score much easier. The big problem for Tennessee is that they aren’t built to come from behind. Their wide receivers are pretty much garbage and Kerry Collins’ shoulder aren’t the type you want to put a game on.

We’ll see what happens in the playoffs, but the entire NFL is absolutely wide open right now with the Titans and Giants suffering injuries and playing poorly. If I’m Pittsburgh or Indianapolis, I’m a pretty happy camper right now.

Manny Arora, Pacman Jones’ agent/enabler, says that a deal with the Cowboys is in place, but that the Titans are testing the market.

"The contract is in place," Arora said Monday. "They are not unintelligent people. They know what they are doing.

"They (Titans) have already made it publicly known that he needs to find another home. Hopefully, it will be Dallas," Arora said. "At some point there is not going to be a market for him. If the draft comes and goes, his value for them reduces. If there is going to be a deal, I imagine it would come in the next three weeks.”

So, what does NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell think of this? He doesn’t really care.

"He has to accept responsibility for his actions and, when he does, I will consider him for reinstatement," Goodell said. "If he doesn’t meet that status, I don’t feel any obligation to reinstate him."

Don’t forget, since he was suspended for a year, Pacman has pleaded no contest to a felony charge in Georgia and guilty to a misdemeanor in Nevada. Yes, this was after the initial suspension. Goodell has been on a mission to clean up the league and Pacman has been on a mission to sully its reputation.
