Universal Studios is not planning to release the movie “Battleship” until May, but it has recently released the third trailer for the film.

Starring Liam Neeson, Rihanna,Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker, “Battleship” is based on the popular Battleship game by Hasbro. People on Earth are trying to fight off alien invaders. This trailer is the first to give a glimpse of what the aliens look like.

The alien species, called the “Regents,” is trying to construct a source of power in the ocean, but they encounter a naval fleet. Taking place in the Hawaiian Islands at Pearl Harbor, the film informs the audience of the locations of the ships on both sides of the battle.

Esquire Magazine names Rihanna 2011′s “Sexiest Woman Alive” in their most recent issue.  The publication snagged an interview with the songstress in which she talked about her sex symbol status, Chris Brown, and her pre-concert vices.

“At the end of a concert, I don’t feel like I’ve been this sexy thing,” Rihanna said. “Really, I don’t even think about it.”

On her abusive ex- boyfriend, the singer said she never wished him any harm.

“It’s incredible to see how he pulled out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I’ve put that behind me,” she said. “It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.”

Rihanna also discusses soothing her pre-concert jitters with a drink.

“I have to have it. I take it very seriously, so there is a level of anxiety, always. I overthink everything when it comes to my job. The drink calms my nerves. I sip it while I watch the opening act from my dressing room. Sometimes I go out into the audience. I put on a really big hoodie and sneak out there.”

An Irish farmer who had given pop princess Rihanna permission to film her new music video shut down production after taking a glance at RiRi’s wardrobe.

“I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did,” Alan Graham, 61, told the BBC. “I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands.”

The farmer admitted that he didn’t know Rihanna was such a sex symbol when he granted permission for her to film on his land in Bangor, County Down. He literally drove over in a tractor and put a stop to the filming.

Shooting for her single “We Found Love” resumed later at a different location.

“I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends,” Graham said. “Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.”

Hustler claims to be in possession of a video showing Rihanna and J-Cole doing the dirty, RadarOnline reports.

“Hustler are in possession of the Rihanna and J-Cole tape,” a Hustler representative told Radar. “We have seen it and we do not know what we are going to do with it yet.”

RiRi has denied the rumors.

“We don’t believe U, U need more people…AND ofcourse an actual sextape! #slownewsday,” she tweeted.

J-Cole opened for Rihanna’s 2011 Loud tour and she appeared in the music video for his song “Just Can’t Get Enough.”

There’s a hot new look for the hottest season: red hair. Although just two percent of the population are said to be natural redheads, one look at the TV and the latest magazine covers proves that many more want to be!

Some celebrities, such as Rihanna and Paramore’s Haley Williams, are choosing very bright “look at me!” shades of red that add extra oomph to their larger-than-life rock star attitudes. More recently, we’ve also seen “Gossip Girl’s” Blake Lively and aptly-named Scarlett Johansson take on subtler red shades in preparation for upcoming roles. Natural blonde Drew Barrymore also recently went red.

Yahoo.com reports that many of the most recognizable fiery-haired celebrities are not natural redheads, citing Lucille Ball, “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks, “Sex and the City’s” Cynthia Nixon, and “Will & Grace’s” Debra Messing; they’ve all been faking it for years, and many of us couldn’t picture them in any other shade. Blast spoke with in-home beautician Arielle Ferguson from Salem, Mass., for tips on how the everyday woman can successfully pull off the trend.

First, consider your skin tone. “If you have a golden tone, try a deep auburn red to make you hair really stand out,” says Ferguson.  “An olive complexion works well with a darker shade like a burgundy. If you have a pale skin tone, stay away from bright reds, instead opting for a coppery shade.”

Different hair colors will absorb the red tint differently, so it’s best to ask your stylist how to get your desired look. For instance, naturally lighter hair may turn orange if handled aggressively, and naturally darker shades may first need to be chemically lightened to achieve the right look.

Ferguson advises, “Bring pictures of the color you want to help your stylist get a sense of what you’re looking for in terms of the brightness or intensity of the color.”

If you have to do it at home, start with a semi-permanent shade until you’re sure you’ve gotten it right; red is the hardest color to apply and hardest to remove, celebrity stylist Tracey Cunningham told Yahoo.com. You should also use a shampoo and conditioner formulated to preserve your color and prevent fading. Root touch-ups will likely need to be done every several weeks, but lighter shades may need the entire head recolored every couple of months, Cunningham adds.

So what makeup goes with your new shade and what color clothes should you wear?  ”Try earthy colors on your eyes,” says Ferguson. “Or, for a nighttime look, use red lipstick to make your mouth pop and swipe a brown or black liner on your eyes.”

Beauty and fashion advice website Greatest Look suggests avoiding purples or pinks in your wardrobe that can clash with your hair, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you really love a clashing color, Greatest Look suggests accessorizing in that color or simply wearing it as far away from your face as possible. Green also offsets red in the color wheel, so search for a shade of green that works; the lighter your hair, the lighter the green in your clothing should be. Knowing your color “season” can also point you in the right direction.

But when it comes to red hair, the most important accessory is you! Work your confidence to show off your bold new look, because blondes don’t have all the fun anymore!

Robin Roberts had hounded him about his attack on Rihanna.

Brown appeared on the show Tuesday morning in order to promote his new album, “F.A.M.E.,” which came out on the same day. However, Roberts repeatedly asked him about the 2009 attack on Rihanna even though Brown told her, “This album is what I want them to talk about and not what happened two years ago.”

After the interview, Brown performed. He was scheduled to perform another song but he went to his dressing room and started smashing things, the source reported.

ABC News released a statement and said, “As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown.”

The singer tweeted after the incident, “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t. Thank you to everyone who supports my music!!! Key Word (music) !!! Love y’all. All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I’m so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!”

According to New York Times, Antonio “LA” Reid, the chairman and chief executive of the Universal Island Def Jam Music Group at the Universal Music Group, will take a leave from the company to become a judge on “The X Factor,” a British show by Simon Cowell. The American version of this show will begin on Fox in September.

The show is partnering with Sony Music and giving the winner a recording contract worth $5 million.

Reid has a history of signing and producing star talent such as Mariah Carey, P!nk, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Avril Lavigne, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, Ciara, OutKast and more.

Rihanna will be appearing on the cover of April’s Vogue. The singer told Vogue, “Over the holidays, and even during filming, I realized that I actually like my body, even if it’s not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy.” She added, “For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.”

The singer also explained, “I hate going to the gym and doing it the old-fashioned way. I hate anything that’s too straightforward, too routine, too familiar. I get bored really, really quickly.”

She talked about her fashion choices as well, “When I was 14 and first started going out, I always wanted to be the opposite of everyone else. When I am putting looks together, I dare myself to make something work. I always look for the most interesting silhouette or something that’s a little off, but I have to figure it out. I have to make it me. I think that’s the thrill in fashion.”

R&B divas Rihanna (RiRi) and Ciara (CiCi) started fighting on Friday, lashing out at each other as modern celebrities do: on Twitter.

It started when Ciara appeared on E!’s “Fashion Police” Friday night and told Joan Rivers about Rihanna by saying, “Rihanna used to be so nice. I just saw her and she wasn’t the nicest. It didn’t take long until Rihanna took offense.

Rihanna tweeted, “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme.”

Ciara responded, “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.”Rihanna replied, “U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.” However, Rihanna added later, “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup.” Ciara responded, “pure comedy…” And, Ciara added, “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.”

Apparently there was a peaceful end to the latest celebrity tweet war.

Kanye West‘s “All of the Lights” video from the album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” was dropped this weekend. The video, directed by Hype Williams, is very bright but in the video, West plays a father who abuses his daughter’s mother. The track itself features several vocals by Fergie, Charlie Wilson, John Legend, Tony Williams, Alicia Keys, La Roux, The Dream, Ryan Leslie, Alvin Fields and Ken Lewis but the video only features Rihanna and Kid Cudi. Rihanna, who just turned 23 Sunday, appears in the video wearing an ‘almost-nothing’ sexy black top.

Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger is going to perform with singer Raphael Saadig at the Grammys this month as part of a tribute to soul star Solomon Burke, who died last year. Burke used to open for the Rolling Stones.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 13, which will air live on CBS at 8 p.m.

The amazing thing is that even though we all know who he is (don’t we?), it will be his very first performance at the Grammys.

The Rolling Stones received a lifetime achievement award in 1986 and performed by satellite from London. Also the band won two Grammys in 1995.

Other than this British rock legend, there will be performances by Rihanna, Cee Lo Green, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Usher, Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum and Justin Bieber.

Rihanna’s new video “S&M,” which premiered today, features Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton as the singer’s faithful naughty dog.

In the video, Rihanna is depicted punishing the press for invading her privacy over the years. It is a playfully sexy video, however, along with the lyrics such as “Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me.”

When she was releasing her latest album “Loud” in October last year, she told Spin Magazine about the tune, “I don’t think of it in a sexual way, I’m thinking metaphorically. It’s more of a thing to say that people can talk….people are going to talk about you, you can’t stop that. You just have to be that strong person and know who you are so that stuff just bounces off. And I thought it was super bad ass.”

Singer Chris Brown, 21, has completed a domestic violence counseling program required as part of the singer’s guilty plea to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

According to the Associated Press, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg congratulated the singer for finishing the yearlong program Friday, and now he does not have to check in court every three months for progress report hearings.

The judge said she would consider lifting the protective order against Brown at a later date. The current order requires Brown to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna.

Kim Kardashian might be working on starting a music career.

According to People, Kardashian, who recently turned 30, has been hard at work in the studio with producer and songwriter Terius “The Dream” Nash in order to create some music.

The Dream, who has a child with R&B singer Christina Milian, has previously crafted smash hits for Rihanna and Beyonce.

Access Hollywood reports that despite rumors of budding romances with John Mayer and Kanye West, she said to People: “I am single. I’m not dating anybody.”

Katy Perry married Russell Brand this weekend in India, and she gave him a retro classic ride as a wedding gift. Katy gifted her new husband with a vintage red Ford Capri, which was sold by Ford in the U.S. as the Mercury Capri.

The six-day wedding party was at a luxury wilderness resort at a Bengal tiger reserve at Ranthambore National Park, in  northwestern India. The couple , their family and friends, including P. Diddy, have been seeing the sites in a convoy of open-topped Maruti Suzuki Gypsy King SUVS, the Jeep of India and an auto icon in the area.

JustJared.com reported that Eminem and Rihanna have teamed up for a sequel to their abuse-themed hit on Rihanna’s upcoming album, “Loud” on Saturday.

According to the source, the song allegedly continues with the theme of abuse, but is told from a woman’s perspective, with lyrics like this: “Even angels have their wing cut schemes, and you take that to new extremes, but you will always be my hero, even though you lost your mind.”

The track was produced by the UK’s Alex da Kid.

Back in July, Rihanna told AccessHollywood.com that despite her once-volatile relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, she did not shy away from the chance to be part of the emotionally-charged song.

She commented, “The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It’s something that I understood, something I connected with,” Rihanna previously told Access. “I knew if (Eminem) sent me a record there must be something to it. It couldn’t just be, ‘Oh, Duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her.’”

Rihanna’s new album, “Loud,” will hit stores on November 16.

Rihanna spilled her guts to Diane Swayer this morning on “Good Morning America” — a move likely choreographed to sync with Chris Brown’s tell-all MTV interview.

According to MTV.com, Rihanna said her relationship with Chris was just too intense. They started out as close friends, and their love bordered on obsession. Rihanna also admitted to feeling guilty for reconciling so quickly with Chris because of the message it sent about domestic violence victims. But now, she says, it’s really over.

“I went through … a host of emotions,” she told Sawyer. “It was confusing for me. I was still attached by love. But I wasn’t thinking about … the reality of the situation. You start lying to yourself. … This is a memory you don’t want to have ever again. … The physical wounds go away, you put it in the back of your head and you start lying to yourself subconsciously.”

Long interview short — she still loves and cares about Chris, but doesn’t think they’ll ever get back together. She hated him for a while, yet felt bad that he was facing so much hatred. Now, she just wants to move on.

“I don’t want that five years from now — every time they see Rihanna, they think of Chris Brown beating me,” she said. “That’s not who I am. It’s just one thing that happened to me.”

According to MTV.com, Brown will answer questions about his fight with Rihanna, including “What caused the singer to lash out against his former girlfriend in the first place? Why has he tweeted old photos of the two of them and released music inspired by her? What does he think about, nine months later, when he recalls that fateful night?”

Brown told MTV that he has been using therapy to deal with his anger and understand his behavior. He also said, “My thoughts [when I look back on it now] is like, why did it happen? Like, what was I thinking? What is wrong with you? That’s what I’m thinking with myself. That’s what my thoughts are, basically, now.”

After about fives months of silence, Chris Brown has publicly apologized for assaulting Rihanna.

TMZ.com is hosting his apology video, which runs just over two minutes. In it, Brown explains that he has not spoken publicly until now under his attorney’s advice. He repeatedly expresses regret and emphasizes that violence is unacceptable.

Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna in a much anticipated hearing yesterday.

The plea was the result of an agreement with prosecutors and requires 20-year-old Brown to spend five years on probation, complete 180 days of community service and attended domestic violence classes. The sentence, which won’t be official until August 5, is far less harsh than the maximum four years in prison.

Rihanna had discussed the plea with prosecutors and after the hearing, he attorney said, “Rihanna believes this is a fair and just resolution to this case.”

According to The Washington Post, Brown was accompanied by his mother and other supports, and showed no emotion as the plea was entered. Judge Patricia Schnegg said, “I think it’s commendable that you took responsibility for your conduct, sir.”

The plea also means that evidence against Brown will not be heard in open court, The Washington Post reported. This may come as a disappointment to Rihanna fans and women’s right’s activists looking forward to seeing a more severe punishment and the end of Brown’s career.

Perhaps it’s too early too tell, but for now, it looks as though Brown will bounce back. He has clearly worked hard to at the very least appear regretful and salvage his squeaky clean image. We’ll never know whether he’s really sorry, but thanks to some serious mercy from Rihanna, he won’t be completely ruined.

On June 22, Rihanna will testify at Chris Brown’s preliminary hearing and finally give the world some answers about what happened before the Grammy Awards.

In February, the former pair were no-shows at the Grammys and it quickly got out that not only had Brown been arrested for assault, but that Rihanna was badly injured. Since then, there has been no concrete evidence that Brown beat Rihanna. The couple even reunited briefly, much to the shock of fans. However, the circumstances make it very hard to believe the incidents were unrelated.

MTV.com said the 21-year-old singer was served with the subpoena on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, Brown tried to have the hearing delayed. He was unsuccessful, and is pleading not guilty to felony assault charges.

Based on this hearing, a judge will decide whether there is sufficient evidence to proceed with the trial, which a legal expert told MTV.com would be 30 to 90 days later.

Donald Etra, Rihanna’s lawyer, told People.com that “If the preliminary hearing indeed goes forward, she is now legally required to be there, she will be there, and will answer all questions truthfully.”

Of course, the hearing could end at any time with a plea bargain, but if Brown is convicted, he faces up to four years and eight months in a state prison.

Conviction or not, the incident and speculation have already done serious damage to Brown’s wholesome image. His former fans, especially young girls, have denounced him and rallied around Rihanna. Her testimony will most likely seal his fate.

Research from security firm McAfee shows that some celebrities are just dangerous to Google and search for around the web because of the litany of fake websites out there that try to infect your computer with viruses and malicious code as you innocently seek out wallpaper and screensavers of your favs.

Brad Pitt leads the pack on a list that includes Jessica Alba and‚ Katherine Heigl.

“Fans searching for “Brad Pitt,” “Brad Pitt downloads,” and Brad Pitt wallpaper, screen savers and pictures have an 18% chance of having their PCs infected with online threats, such as spyware, spam, phishing, adware, viruses and other malware,” McAfee said. “Cybercriminals are using A-listers’ names and images, like Beyoncƒ© and Justin Timberlake, to lure Internet users who surf the Web for the latest gossip, screen savers and ringtones to “fake” Web sites that look legitimate.”

The list includes:

1. Brad Pitt – When “Brad Pitt screensavers” was searched, more than half of the resulting Web sites were identified as containing malicious downloads with spyware, adware and potential viruses.

2. Beyoncƒ© – Inputting “Beyoncƒ© ringtones” into a search engine yields risky Web sites that promote misleading offers to gather consumers’ personal information.

3. Justin Timberlake – Interest in his high-profile relationships makes him an easy target for spammers and hackers. When searching for “Justin Timberlake downloads” one Web site advertised free music downloads that were flagged as directly leading to spam, spyware and adware.

4. Heidi Montag – “The Hills” star is a popular search term when it comes to searching for wallpaper. A host of wallpaper Web sites contained hundreds of malware-laden downloads.

5. Mariah Carey – Spammers and hackers are using Mariah Carey screen saver Web sites to link to other sites proven to contain spyware, adware and other threatening downloads.

6. Jessica Alba – Red-ranked risky sites were identified when searching for “Jessica Alba” and “Jessica Alba downloads.” The sites contained hundreds of malicious downloads, links to other bad sites, misleading offers to gather information, and a high number of spam emails when an email address was provided.

7. Lindsay Lohan – This young Hollywood starlet is as dangerous to search online as she is famous. Searching for “Lindsay Lohan downloads” resulted in several dangerous Web sites laden with hidden adware.

8. Cameron Diaz – Cybercriminals use download Web sites related to Cameron Diaz’s image to link to other harmful sites containing spyware.

9. George Clooney, Rihanna – The technology found one Web site embedded with hundreds of dangerous wallpaper and photo downloads after inputting “George Clooney downloads.” “Rihanna pictures” was also a risky search term, as McAfee identified a site that spammed its test email address.

11. Angelina Jolie – When “Angelina Jolie downloads” was searched, the software highlighted a risky site with 978 hidden malware-infected wallpaper and photo downloads, as well as links to other potentially dangerous URLs.

12. Fergie – A Fergie screen saver site was flagged as offering 111 risky downloads that could seriously compromise a PC’s privacy with unwanted spyware and adware.

13. David Beckham, Katie Holmes – The “David Beckham” search term generated a great deal of wallpaper and screen saver downloads veiled with malware. Consumers should also exercise caution when searching for “Katie Holmes” online – one download site advertised free screen savers that, if downloaded, would infect your computer with malicious programs like spyware.

15. Katherine Heigl – Hollywood’s big headliner in recent years is now susceptible to Internet lurkers too. “Katherine Heigl” was searched and a site was identified containing hundreds of malware-infected pictures.

‚ ”Cybercriminals employ numerous methods, yet one of the simplest but most effective ways is to trick consumers into infecting themselves by capitalizing on Americans’ interest in celebrity gossip,” said Jeff Green, senior vice president of McAfee’s Product Development and Avert Labs. “Tapping into current events, pop culture or commonly browsed sites is an easy way to achieve this. And because of Americans’ obsession with following celebrities’ lifestyles, they are an obvious target. We have to take precautions in casually navigating the Web since many subtle sites may be rife with malware for consumers’ computers.”
