Those looking to continue their stealthy gaming habits can do so this week when Ubsifot’s “Splinter Cell: Conviction” finally, after delays, comes to the Xbox 360.

But there’s something for you too, PS3 gamer. Rockstar Games are this week releasing GTA: IV downloadable content “The Lost and Damned” and “The Ballad of Gay Tony” both on the PlayStation Network separately and together at retail under the name of “Episodes From Liberty City.”

And rounding out the week is the coming of the third season of the Sam & Max saga, episode one of The Devil’s Playhouse, “The Penal Zone” for PC and PS3.

The Beatles have been out of commission for decades but that won’t stop Harmonix from finally releasing the hotly hyped “The Beatles: Rock Band” on home consoles this Wednesday, 9-09-09. We’ve played the bejeezes out of it, loved it, and highly recommend it. Read our 9.0 review here.

Bethesda is calling Mothership Zeta Fallout 3′s final DLC, and with some already solid installments preceding it, and Fallout New Vegas on next year’s horizon, it wouldn’t be insane for the developer to be truthfully speaking. This week in new releases is soft on quantity, but heavy on quality if you’re into brawlers, Rock Band, Wacthmen, fishing, and oh yeah, motion-controlled beach leisure activities.

G-Force, the game based on the movie of the same name drops this Tuesday for every platform under the sun, and in case somehow you have avoided the advertising onslaught for the movie/game, well, you’re probably better off.

Also on Tuesday the Rock Band: Country Track Pack hits shelves for all major home consoles, begging the question, do you have a proper cowboy hat to get your rock on with?

Two days later, on Thursday, King of Fighters XII hits PS3, and if you’ve been reading Blast in the past few months, you know all about this HD revival of the series and how much pure WIN is packed in.

And finally, Wii Sports Resorts makes it’s North American debut on Sunday, July 26. We first heard of this title at E3 2008 and is likely the hinge on which Nintendo is cementing its future in motion-controlled gaming. Bundled with a Wii MotionPlus, this title, set on a sunny, summery beach, is hoping to revisit those memories of 2006 when we all first played Wii Sports, but with heightened immersion fueled by true 1:1 motion tracking.

The video game industry is running at full-steam this week as the E3 2009 Expo is going down in Los Angeles and a delicate few, first rate titles also release this week, making these next seven days one hell of a ride for enthusiasts like us.

The open-world racing title, recently dubbed the world’s largest video game, FUEL, drops this Tuesday alongside the Mars-based Red Faction Guerrilla, and, wait for it, hold your breath, The Sims 3 !!

The fact that I’ve been sleeping in my Super Mario boxers and Prototype promotional t-shirt means only one thing “" summer is upon us and we are in the thick of the heavy video game release schedule we’ve been foretelling for so long.

Last week was a crazy-fantastic week with Bionic Commando, Punch Out!!, and the new Boom Blox.‚ ‚  How can these next seven days top that?‚  Let’s have a look shall we?

inFamous, the PlayStation 3 exclusive from Sony drops this Tuesday in hopes of electrifying the masses (terrible pun, consider me warned) with its openworldness and already excellent pre-release reviews.

Also on Tueday Damnation, from Codemasters, on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3, hits shelves and offers up a fresh take on the shooter experience.

And fast forward to Saturday, May 30 when Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Adventures: The Last Resort comes exclusively to Xbox Live Arcade.‚  The adventures are comprised of four episodic packs; each lasts about four hours and is packed to the brim with puzzle-solving and incredible dedication to detail in recreating the classic Wallace and Gromit experience, on the part of developer Telltale Games. ‚ ‚ We loved and loved the first two PC installments, and if the transition to Xbox 360 is as smooth as promised, we see no reason why this title won’t succeed as well.

The long awaited summer months are upon us, as this Friday is indeed the first of May!

But while the sun may be plentiful and comforting, this week in new video games contains some hyped titles worthy of your examination.

This Wednesday, Banjo Tooie, the famed sequel to the masterful original hits the Xbox Live Arcade and is sure to send gamers down memory lane with odd flashbacks of those glorious N64 days.

Also on Wednesday, Stalin vs. Martians, a mock of the RTS genre pitting the notorious Stalin against a bunch of little green men hits PC a week later than anticipated, but here nonetheless.

On Thursday, Velvet Assassin, the hotly anticipated World War 2 era stealth-oriented title hits PC and Xbox 360.‚  The title is inspired by the real life British agent Violette Szabo, and puts gamers behind enemy lines vying for quick and silent modes of eliminating enemies.

Finally, on Friday the first of May, X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits every possible platform, but you probably already know this as the marketing for this title has been absolutely insane.

After the release of The Godfather 2 and DemiGod last week, these next 7 days in new video games tastes like a big bowl of ‘meh.’‚  However, diamonds are found in the rough, and if you’re into Jelly Beans, Horses, Tangrams, or planning weddings, this last full week of April has something for you!

Hold on though, Excitebots: Trick Racing, the ambitious and zany racing title, complete with online play from Nintendo, aims to build upon the successes of Excite Truck and take the experience a million steps further.

On the even wackier side of things Stalin vs. Martians, a real-time-strategy title on PC in which Stalin combats an alien force that somehow dropped into 1942 Siberia, is a spoof of RTS’s, but looks awesome nonetheless.
