Kelly Clarkson recently released her new single “Mr. Know It All.” The song is very catchy and fits in well with Clarkson’s usual style.

Fans will not be disappointed if they are looking for a sing-along chorus and a song they can sing with some attitude.

The chorus states: “Boy you think that you know me, know me. That’s why I’m leaving you lonely, lonely. ‘Cause baby you don’t know a thing about me, you don’t know a thing about me.”

This is the first single from Clarkson’s album “Stronger,” which is due out in October.

In news not involving the very public breakdown of Charlie Sheen, “American Idol” is celebrating its 10th anniversary season with, you guessed it, a CD! On March 15, RCA is releasing The Hits Vol. 1, an “American Idol” anniversary album. Just when you thought that you could avoid Idol and its troupe of desperate musicians it just got a little more difficult. Winners from each of the nine seasons, including the infamous Kelly Clarkson, and even some fan favorites circa Adam Lambert of MTV make-out fame, makes appearances on the compilation. In a bid to help audiences relive the seasons with each of its winners, the compilation is listed in chronological order with the few stragglers hanging out at the bottom of the twelve-song list.

Not to knock Idol’s concept too hard — there is obvious talent being showcased. With the 10th season’s latest musical chair medley of judges, Jennifer Lopez and that Scary Guy from Aerosmith are joining the show and there will be even more pop music antics. This is the first time in Idol history that, due to the frightening fame of coiffed teenager Justin Bieber, 15-year-olds can now audition. So what does this mean for the future of American Idol? Probably a lot more of the same: doe-eyed teenage beauties singing their hearts out sans the withering glare of Simon Cowell. Best of luck to them.

You just know you’ve fucked up when goody two-shoes Kelly Clarkson calls you an asshole.

In a post on her blog, Clarkson went on a tirade against Kanye West that can only be described as the musical equivalent of Rocky Marciano’s “kill the body and the head will die” knockout of Jersey Joe Walcott in 1952.

It was a series of relentless jabs and hay-makers.

“What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit,” Clarkson wrote.

She is, of course, referring to West’s outrageous, arch-asshole attempt to ruin the MTV Video Music Awards night for, of all people, Taylor Swift.

Because she’s such a fuckin gangster. Frankly, I’m surprised Swifty and her peeps didn’t pull out their 9′s and bust a few caps right on the motherfuckin stage, yo.

Clarkson goes on to say that she likes her “asshole ex-boyfriend” who cheated on her better than Kanye, and she admits she never even met Kanye!

Clarkson lost the VMA Moon Man to Swift, but said she was “excited” for her.

Pink, who also lost in the Best Female Video category to Swift, reportedly had to be stopped by security from rushing the stage and knocking Kanye on his ass, which would have been the best publicity stunt MTV could have pulled off, since they still try to call their awards show the “Video” Music Awards, even though all they do is replay episodes of “The Hills” and “The Real World.”

But back on topic:

“Kanye West is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me” Pink wrote to MTV. “My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment.”

Hell, Mr. West, hath no fury.

The original America Idol announced her anticipated All I Ever Wanted fall tour.

Kelly Clarkson will be at Mohegan Sun on October 2, the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine on October 4, and in Boston at the Agganis Arena on October 13.

Clarkson will be joined by a few hot Aussies in The Veronicas and a newcomer band called Parachute.

Clarkson has sold more than 20 million albums since her 2002 debut. Her current All I Ever Wanted release shattered Billboard records, when “My Life Would Suck Without You” jumped from #97 to #1 in its first week of release. Clarkson premiered her current single “Already Gone” on The Late Show with David Letterman last week.

Concert attendees can expect to hear these latest hits including “I Do Not Hook Up” from the tour’s namesake album, along with her signature pop anthems.

The Veronicas are platinum stars with success of “Untouched.” Parachute’s current single “She Is Love” is on the Hot AC and Top 40 charts.
