Dakota Fanning stopped to chat with Blast tonight as she headed to the world premier of her new film “The Runaways.” Fanning stars alongside Kristen Stewart (“Twilight”) as Cherie Currie, lead singer of the legendary band The Runaways. PARK CITY, Utah — Blast caught up with Kristen Stewart on the red carpet tonight as she was heading into the world premier of her new independent biopic, “The Runaways.” In the film, Kristen portrays rocker Joan Jett alongside Dakota Fanning who plays Jett’s best friend and Runaways band mate, Cherie Currie. Kristen talked to Blast about the pressures of portraying a musical icon and what it was like chopping her hair into a mullet. We kinda owe one to Kristen Stewart after we took part in the media storm gossiping about her almost certainly not true pregnancy.

The young actress is getting lots of publicity lately for something besides “Twilight,” the biopic “The Runaways,” where she supposedly shares a passionate kiss with 15-year-old darling Dakota Fanning, who plays Cherie Currie.
