And Yankee pitcher CC Sabathia stars.

Electronic Arts and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 took another swipe at Activision and Modern Warfare 2 today with the release of a trailer titled “Friends Really Against Grenade Spam.”

For those unfamiliar, Activision released a trailer, with Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels in it, titled “Friends Against Grenade Spam” or F.A.G.S.

This is EA attempting, with the help of a stoned-sounding CC Sabathia, to parody that effort and, in my opinion, succeeds masterfully.

Grandstand tickets will be selling at $1.10. Both prices match the ticket price for the opener against Boston back in 1923.

The Yankees are hoping to sell 720,000,000 bleacher seats during those two days which will cover Teixeira’s contract. And they are looking to sell 146,363,636 grandstand tickets to help pay for CC Sabathia’s contract.

These games against the Cubs represent the pre-season home opener at the new Yankee Stadium.
