Did you know at least 70 percent of women are wearing the wrong size bra? Do you fall victim to the infamous uni-boob? Perhaps you allow your girls to suffocate in cups that are far too small or you allow them to float freely in cups that are too big. Do you have indents in your back or shoulders because the band of your bra and the straps are too small? The questions could go on, but if you’ve already answered "yes" then you need to not only continue reading, you need to do your ta-tas a favor and buy new bras.

Zyrra is a Boston-based company that designs and creates custom made bras for women. They have fit cup sizes from A to H; so their bras really are for any woman, regardless of her size, that wants a comfortable and supportive fit.

Co-founder Derek Ohly explained that "Zyrra was hatched at the Babson MBA program, where I learned from my co-founder that women were dissatisfied with their bras. As I heard from her and countless other women, this was a big problem in need of a big solution. Coming out of school, we created the company and set about learning what we needed to learn — essentially everything about apparel construction, bras, suppliers, manufacturers, CAD software, direct sales, and packaging. And we did it."

The company got its name from a friend’s grandmother who called bras "zyrra’s" as in "bra-zyrra". "That was perfect. All we had to do was come up with a spelling," said Ohly.

Zyrra takes 10 measurements in order to create the perfect fit bra; the measurements include back, bust, band, and wire. This is called their Fit Bra Measuring System. The measurements are then used to produce a unique bra pattern for each individual client.

"Because our bras are custom made according to each client’s measurements, Zyrra does not use standardized cup and band sizes. A woman cannot measure herself for a Zyrra bra," said Ohly.

There are two ways to get measured for a bra; in store and during a bra party. A bra party or "fitting occasion" is just like a Tupperware party. A hostess invites in friends over for food and drinks and a Zyrra Fit Specialist will be there to explain what Zyrra is and what sets them apart from other bra companies. The Fit Specialist will measure anyone who would like to be fitted for their own custom made bra.

Ohly said, "Women hate bra shopping. That’s well-documented. So we thought, how do we offer our product and service in a way that stands apart from the department store experience? The answer: let people relax with their friends at home, and bring high-quality, professional service to them. What could be more comfortable than that?"

Another Zyrra perk? You can run your own Zyrra business (think Avon) and earn money doing it.

Zyrra offers their bras in black, white, beige and pink. They plan to offer a better selection of styles and colors. Zyrra also sells matching panties and thongs as well as other complimentary accessories.

The turnaround time for a custom made bra is about four weeks, sometimes faster. The bras are a flat rate of $85 plus shipping and handling regardless of bra size. Zyrra provides their customers with a guaranteed fit — you can return your bra for whatever reason within 30 days for a full refund.

The Bra Tree is a lifesaver

Ladies, lets face it. We spend a lot of time and money on our bras, yet we tend to not treat them with the care they deserve. Caring for a bra doesn’t stop at washing them, but we forget that and we just toss them in a drawer, hoping that they’ll find their own way of fitting in neatly.

A drawer seems like the only reasonable place to store bras; however they can be detrimental to the lifespan of a bra. You inevitably end up with overcrowded drawers and mangled bras at best. Bras are meant to be stored in a way that won’t harm their natural shape. Piling bras on top of one another and stuffing them into cramped quarters can lead to warped under wires, misshaped cups, or even worse, rips and tears.

If only there was a simple solution… Well now there is; it’s called the Bra Tree and it’s the lifesaver your bra has been looking for. Picture a sleek, feminine hanger that can hold up to twelve of your bras and you have just envisioned the Bra Tree.

The Bra Tree is 18 inches tall and 16 inches wide; it is the perfect size for your closet. Each Bra Tree has a swivel hook and 12 custom hooks that can store bras, sports bras and even bathing suits. The Bra Tree comes in 3 sexy, yet elegant colors: black, silver and pink. Every color comes with flirty black lace as the trim.

The best part you ask? The Bra Tree is very affordable at only $21.99 and there’s a 30 day money back guarantee. Can you really put a price tag on something that saves space, time, and the life of your bra? Check it out for yourself here.

Among all the bra options in the market, it’s amazing to know that women still suffer from bad support, faulty coverage and ugly bra lines. Staci Berner, a stay-at-home mom, experienced these problems firsthand, too. After seeing Oprah’s Bra Intervention episode, she even commissioned a bra professional to find her adequate undergarments, which only left her with a large bill and more uncomfortable bras.

After too many complaints Berner decided to take things into her own hands and literally make her own bra. As a self taught designer who created plus size clothing and wear-anywhere gym clothes, she began researching and testing materials that felt good and worked on her body. Berner created a pattern and later sewed everything on her own to get a Franken-bra that looked awful, but worked magically.

“The prototype looked horrible but it worked,” said Berner. “I didn’t want to sell it but then my mom wanted one, and my girlfriends wanted one because the way we looked in our clothes and felt was amazingly different. I realized other women were probably looking for something like this too and I could bring a good bra to them.”

After discussing it with her husband and figuring out who else could do the sewing, Berner tweaked‚ her designs and set off to found her company Shapeez and sell the Unbelievabra.

“We patented it and put a website for it and had 1,000 people signed up before there even was a product to sell,” said Berner. “We got a factory to make it and the product took a life of its own. We promoted online first and sold everything there. Now we’re in about 85 stores in Canada and 60 stores in the US.”

When the‚ business launched‚ in 2008, a total of 13,000 bras were sold. But in the first three months of 2009, Berner has‚ already sold about 6,000 pieces. Averaging sales of 700 bras per month while trying to manage a customer-centered business has become an exciting experience.

“I didn’t want to go to major retailers because I wanted this to have a customer relationship. The people that sell the bra are trained in how to measure and our techniques are different from other bras so we didn’t want to go into big department stores for that reason,” said Berner. “Our product needs to be carefully attended to. We don’t want to be a spanx or be in every single store, we want to keep it slightly manageable and be able to incorporate me and not loose touch with our customers.”

Though the‚ idea ‚ is to keep the business as grassroots as possible, some big names have gotten their hands on the little bra that could. Makeup artist Bobbi Brown, as well as actresses Mary McCormack, star of USA’s In Plain Sight, and Lesley Ann Warren, of Will & Grace, own the undergarment. And because the bra’s design eliminates all visible bra lines or back bulges and comfortably provides superior breast support, the product might not be able to stay under the radar for too long.

Berner assures the attention won’t go to her head, though.

“You know what it is? My ego is not invested in this at all,” said Berner. “I looked at this as my baby, like when my kids do really well I love to see it but I can’t say “ËœI did that.’ I am proud of my product so I don’t look like it is just me succeeding, I am happy that I help women, something I created is helping them, but we women have to stick together and help each other and since I was a little girl my whole being was about making other women feel better.”

The torso-length Ultimate bra, $85, cropped-length Shortee, $75, and midriff mini, $75, are available in nude and black. Made with a breathable cool-tex microfiber that doesn’t bulge, the most amazing thing is that the bra comes in 25 sizes, from a small A cup to a 42 double D, with adjustable straps.

No pain, no ugly look, no hassle? Berner and her clients happily say that it’s all‚ finally true.

“My whole thing is that if it doesn’t help me I’m not making it or wearing it,” said Berner. “Everything that we make will be elastic free and will not give you back bulges and it will make you look better. We take all kinds of things that work in common bras and leave the negative things behind. I think that’s why people really like this, because you don’t want to put something on and say, “Ëœwell this is ok’ no. Instead say, “Ëœyeah this has everything’.”
