Ken Stabler arrested for DUI 3

Ken Stabler, one of the all-time great quarterbacks for the Oakland Raiders, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was pulled over around 1 a.m. Sunday morning in Alabama for a traffic violation.

Stabler played in the NFL for 15 years, finishing up with the Oilers and then the Saints. He also had a pair of DUI’s stemming from arrests in 1995 and 2001.

And I’ll throw out this interesting tidbit because I can. While with the Saints, he was sacked by the Cowboys in the end zone for a safety. It’s the only time in NFL history that a team losing by one point, won by one point on a safety.
