Dutch Indie developer Vertigo released a pre-alpha gameplay trailer for their upcoming Word of Diving title.

The trailer shows off the game’s multiplayer features, which have full Oculus Rift support. World of Diving was recently greenlit by Steam.

Being Greenlit by the Steam community in September showed us that there is definitely a market for World of Diving, and development has really leapt forward since then,” said Tristan Lambert, Lead Programmer on the project, in a statement. “We’ve recently added multiplayer co-op missions, and our internal testers were so enthusiastic that we decided to show it early.”

Interested players can begin to customize their characters and mess around with the pre-Alpha by going to divegame.net. The full game is expected for PC, Mac, and Linux in the second half of next year.
