The Boston Festival of Indie Games (FIG) is an all-day event that invites both fans and game developers to come by, play games, make games, and even vote on their favorites. Think of it as slice of PAX East’s Indie Showcase with a bigger emphasis on community, academics, and fun!
Boston FIG takes place on Saturday, September 22 on the MIT campus and will include a 12-hour game jam, digital art exhibit, film screenings and special guest speakers from the national indie games space. There will also be a special showcase to highlight the various titles developed by the MIT Games Lab, which has created over 50 games in the past five years.
Boston FIG encourages independent game developers to submit their games for showcase consideration. Games can be digital, in the form of interactive fiction, or table-top. Voting will be open to all participants.
