Penguin United, the folks that bring you all sorts of console accessories, will unveil their latest effort, the Wii-specific Crossfire gun in just a few weeks at E3 2009 in Los Angeles.
Why do we need more gun peripherals if Nyko has already created the Perfect Shot?‚ One possible answer is that the Crossfire contains an integrated remote sensor and claims to be not merely a remote shell.‚ And the A, B, and D-pad button positions have been altered in what Penguin United believes to be a more functionally acceptable way.
Interestingly, the Crossfire can double as a good ‘ole Wii remote, but until we get our hands on it at E3 (and indeed we will), and until we hear of a price, we’ll remain skeptical.
