Then EA President John Riccitello promises an “unprecedented partnership” with EA and Nintendo at E3

An EA spokesperson has told Kotaku that they currently have no games in development for Nintendo’s Wii U console.  No NHL, no Madden, No Battlefield, No Star Wars. Nothing.

The news comes as a bit of a surprise, as EA was one of the first third party studios to throw their support behind Nintendo’s console. Releasing Madden NFL 13, FIFA Soccer 13 and Mass Effect 3 for the console, and most recently released Need for Speed Most Wanted. EA was also a major part of Nintendo’s E3 2012 press conference, promising an “unprecedented partnership.”

Blast has reached out to both Nintendo and EA. We’ll update this story if we hear anything.
