Bethesda has released a new trailer for its upcoming steam-punk game Dishonored, and it gives us gameplay footage, an eerie choir of girls singing, and lots of violence.
The game takes place in a dystopian universe where you play an assassin named Corvo who has been framed for the murder of an Empress. Not only do you have your gadgets and tools at your disposal, but dark forces have given you supernatural abilities.
In Dishonored, creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine supernatural abilities with weapons and gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your targets under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.
Dishonored is scheduled for release October 9 in North America on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Watch for our preview of the game next week from E3.
