It’s pretty much been assumed that when Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launches this November, it will come packed with a zombie mode, every Treyarch produced title in the series since World at War has — but this time — it’s much more.

“One of the things our community has told us is that the love the game but they want to play it in different ways,” said Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia at at a recent press event.

Described as an open-world adventure to Polygon, Black Ops 2’s Zombie mode dubbed Tranzit features a full fledged secondary campaign that takes players from infected town to infected town in a fortified bus. There’s also a new eight player versus mode that pits two teams against each other to see who can off more zombies.
