Don’t Disconnect, Jaffe’s latest album, was produced by Kirtland Records and marks a distinct shift in Jaffe’s sound. While her prior albums were noted for their folksy, acoustic sounds, Don’t Disconnect is far more electric than her previous work.  Jaffe has received rave reviews for the album; NPR’s First Listen called her “…a ferociously intelligent artist who never stops inventing, reinventing, exploring…” while The Portland Mercury wrote that “Sarah Jaffe is a musical wonder evolving at warp speed.”

Be sure to catch Jaffe Sept. 11 for what is sure to be a fantastic combination of hip-hop and indie. Tickets are available through Great Scott for $14. The show is 18+ and starts at 8:30 p.m.
