The New York Times has reported that Washington Redskins star Taylor has died after being shot during a possibly robbery Monday.
“Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor has died, a day after he was shot in the leg, said family friend Richard Sharpstein,†The Times reported.
The 24-year-old safety was shot early Monday morning in his home in the leg, damaging the femoral artery.
Taylor has undergone several hours of surgery where his heart stopped multiple times. ESPN had reported Taylor was making progress, responding to doctors and squeezing a hand on command. [...]
