In the June issue, Nicole Richie talks to Glamour about why she thinks she is the best hairstylist on the planet, tweeting about her rap career, if husband Joel Madden notices when she changes her hair and much much more!

This season, the mom of Harlow and Sparrow, is a designer mentor on Fashion Star, and she just launched her third fashion line, the Nicole Richie Collection, on QVC. Her hairstylist and dear friend for more than 10 years, Andy Lecompte, styled her hair for Glamour’s June beauty story, available on newsstands and digitally (iPad, Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble Nook Color) nationwide on May 8.

GLAMOUR: Your waves today looked gorgeous. But that’s with pro help. How do you get that look at home?

NICOLE RICHIE: I have naturally curly hair, so “natural” beach waves are not so natural for me. I like to braid my hair at night and then let it out the next day. And I also curl my hair with a flatiron. I actually think I’m the best hairstylist on the planet.

GLAMOUR: Are you serious?

NR: Yes, I’m very serious. I’m mixed, and it’s work to do my hair,
so I learned how to do it well myself. I would be a hairstylist. I
actually like to go to the salon and blow out people’s hair.

ANDY LECOMPTE: She teaches us what to do.

GLAMOUR: That is so funny. Do people tip you?

NR: No one tips me. [Laughs.] Or pays. That’s the next step.

GLAMOUR: Does Joel [Madden, Richie’s husband] notice when you change your hair?

NR: Joel noticed this Valentine’s Day that I had bangs. He looked at me and was like, “You got bangs, I see.” I was like, “I’ve had bangs since I was 22 years old!” [Laughs.]

GLAMOUR: Joel once tweeted, “What’s your favorite app?” And you replied, “The How to Make Your Husband Go Out So You Can Watch Reality TV in Peace app.” Hilarious.

NR: You know, Joel barely speaks all day, and then out of nowhere he has 9 million things to say, only for 30 minutes, from 9-9:30 p.m., when I’m watching Real Housewives.

GLAMOUR: You also tweeted, “My rap career is on the rise.” NR: It is! Just wait and see. I’m the best!

NR: Actually, I cannot rhyme cat without going to rhymezone.com. I’m so bad at it!

GLAMOUR: You went through a period where you were super thin and everyone was commenting on it. Now you have two kids and look awesome. How do you feel about your body?

NR: I feel [gets all fake dramatic]…great about my body. [Laughs.] You know, aesthetically I can be picky, but I choose not to. I’ve taken huge leaps. I’m proud of that. I work out, and I get lots of sleep, and so I feel great. And that is most important.

GLAMOUR: We like to think of you as a trendsetter. Do you think of yourself that way?

NR: No! [Laughs.] My world is small. I have my circle of 10 friends, my kids, my family. None of them call me a trendsetter.

GLAMOUR: Now you’ve got the Nicole Richie Collection on QVC. Any advice for women starting their own business?

NR: Study your craft. Know it well before you jump in. I wait all the time. Because I don’t want to just put my name on something and then release it. What’s the point of that?

GLAMOUR: What’s your absolute favorite moment in every day?

NR: When I wake up at 5:30 a.m. and it’s still dark out. I love, love being alone. It helps me to be a better mom to my kids and a better person at work.

Rumors connecting Kim Kardashian and Kanye West romantically have spread through the entertainment world, spurred on by anonymous sources and appearances the duo have made together.

“Kim and Kanye have now just started dating,” said a source to PEOPLE. “They’re seeing where it goes.”

When asked about her supposedly budding relationship with Kanye during an appearance on the Today Show, Kardashian spared few details, saying “Kanye and I have been friends for years… You never know what the future holds.”

Kanye’s feelings on the matter have been displayed more prominently, through his song “Theraflu”, where he sings “I admit I feel in love with Kim… Round the same time she fell in love with him.”

The two have been seen in various spots around New York City, eating out together, and going to the movies.

Kardashian, despite these rumors, remains legally married to Kris Humphries. Of their pending divorce, she said “We are still going through a divorce, so there’s not really much that I’m allowed to talk about. Out of respect for [Humphries], I try not to talk about stuff involving him and regarding that situation.”

Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI early Friday morning in West Hollywood according to TMZ.

The website reports that Bynes, 26, attempted to pass a cop car around 3 a.m. and sideswiped the right rear panel.  She was pulled over and the officers decided she should not be driving.

The actress has had a tough few weeks.  She recently drove away from a cop while he was writing her a ticket for talking on a cell phone.  She did not face additional charges, however, because she later signed the ticket at the police station.

Bynes’ bail was set at $5,000.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are finally going public, according to TMZ.

The pair first went on a date to the movies, and recently went to lunch in New York City at Serafina restaurant as their second.

Kim (who apparently only dates people with names that start with ‘K’) and Kanye garnered a huge crowd of onlookers and paparazzi during their date, as expected.  The couple has been reportedly together for years now, and it’s a media frenzy now that they are out in the open.

Nothing like a nice, romantic lunch date with hundreds of paparazzi watching and documenting your every move.

Corner’s officials in Los Angeles have determined that Grammy Award-winning singer Whitney Houston died from accidental drowning. Heart disease and chronic cocaine use were also factors in her death.

Houston, 48, was found dead in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11. Her death has been ruled accidental.

Although there were many prescription medicine bottles in her room, they were in normal quantities. Police also found no evidence of foul play.

Cocaine was found in her system in addition to marijuana, Xanax, Flexeril and Benadryl. She also had heart disease that caused her arteries to be blocked.

Houston’s funeral service was held on February 18 and she was buried in a New Jersey cemetery next to her father.

The complete autopsy report is expected in two weeks.

Gallagher, a comedian known for his smashing of watermelons during performances, suffered from a heart attack on Wednesday before he was scheduled to appear at a Texas club.

Leo Anthony Gallagher was placed in a medically induced coma to aid in his recovery, but he is expected to heal. According to Gallagher’s promotional manager, Christine Scherrer, Doctors may be waking him from the coma on Sunday.

This is the second heart attack 65-year old Gallagher has suffered from, the last being during an on-stage performance in Minnesota last year.

After a minor stint with the law, Russell Brand turned himself in to police in New Orleans on Thursday. The actor was charged for grabbing and smashing a paparazzo’s iPhone, before throwing it through a window in a nearby law firm.

Brand’s excuse for his behavior was that he was honoring the memory of Steve Jobs. He claimed that the photographer’s use of his phone was irreverent in the name of the late Apple CEO. He said “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.”

Since then, Brand has paid $240 for the repair of the window, and posted $5,000 bond for his release from jail.

Rumors about Ashley Judd possibly partaking in plastic surgery emerged after the actress appeared on a talk show to promote her new show, Missing, with puffier cheeks than usual.

However, Judd and her rep have been quick to shut down the comments, her ep saying “Ashley has been battling an ongoing, serious sinus inflection and flu. [She’s] been on a heavy dose of medication to overcome it.”

Apparently, Judd was prescribed with steroids to battle the conidition that trigger the swelling in her cheeks.

Judd tweeted on Wednesday “Thanks to all asking how I’ve been feeling, still very sick (flu + viral infection in sinuses = wicked) but staying positive & having fun.”

E! News host Giuliana Rancic recently underwent a double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis and is now happy and healthy.  Rancic told Glamour that she is still the same gossip hound that she always was, and wants everyone to “cut the bullshit!”  Here is a preview of the interview that will be in the April issue of Glamour:

On her husband’s calmness…

“I wanted to yell from a rooftop and cry and scream. Bill was the one who said, “Calm down” – and he got out a legal pad. I’m like, “Bill, this isn’t one of your business deals.” He goes, “We’ve got to make a list and figure out the pros and cons of a lumpectomy with radiation and anti-estrogen therapy, and the pros and cons of a mastectomy. Let’s figure this out.””

Bill’s emotional hardships during the treatment…

“As a husband and as a man, you wish you could trade places with your wife, but you can’t, and it sucks. I of course had my moments. But you know, you’ve got to be strong; I would never break down in front of her. I wasn’t curled up in a fetal position in the shower, but there were moments when it was like, “It’s not fair. Why does she have to go through this?” There was anger.”

On her self-image after the surgery…

“At first I didn’t want to look in the mirror, because I felt like, I’m getting better every day and this is about my health, so I shouldn’t get bogged down by what I see in the mirror. I knew I wasn’t going to look like a bikini model, so why look? Why even put the image in my head?”

On her attitude towards her career…

“I’ll be totally honest. While I was recovering, I was thinking, I’m really going to be asking people what they’re wearing? I didn’t know if I could find the joy in it again. But it didn’t take long.”

What she told her coworkers…

“It was like, “Hey, guys, cut the bulls—t. I’m the exact same person I was before. I’m still shallow, I still love clothes, I still want to talk fashion, I still want to gossip, so lay it on me.” They were like, “Thank God.””

On how she used her illness as a platform…

“We’ve been given this incredible platform, and we think it was for a reason. I truly believe that. When I got my job at E!, I was the thirty-ninth person who auditioned. I wasn’t the prettiest, I wasn’t the smartest, I wasn’t the most talented. And I always wondered why I got the job. Now I think God knew I wouldn’t be a selfish little cow with this platform, and I’d actually try to do something good with it.”

Actor George Clooney was arrested today at a protest outside of the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, DC.

Clooney and his father, Nick Clooney, joined other protesters accusing Sudanese President Omar of al-Bashir of provoking a humanitarian crisis and blocking food and aid.

Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass), Rep. John Olver (D-Mass), Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va), NAACP President Ben Jealous and Martin Luther King III were also arrested after crossing a police line.

Earlier this week, Clooney met with President Obama and testified in the Senate about the crisis in Sudan.

‘‘It’s such a silly thought to think you’re actually succeeding in any of this,’’ Clooney told “The Boston Globe.” ‘‘But if it’s loud enough and you keep making it loud enough at the very least people will know about it, and you can’t say we didn’t know. That’s the first step.’’

After recent suicide attempts and a history of drug abuse, Tila Tequila has decided to enter rehab.

The reality star had been struggling with the abuse of substances for awhile, but after being sent to the hospital by her roommate for multiple attempts to kill herself, Tequila has agreed to get help.

Where and when she’ll be entering rehab is unknown.

“People stop me out of the blue a lot. That’s pretty much all I ever get: ‘You look exactly like Steven Tyler….Growing up, I would lie a lot if people asked me if I’m related to Steven Tyler. I avoided it hard for a while, because I wanted to badly experience developing without that. But I’ve embraced it now.”

On growing up in a rock ’n’ roll household:

“Being around my dad made me develop a resentment toward the entertainment industry. I was resentful of the industry for stealing my dad away from me, for making me feel like I couldn’t just have a regular little kid life.”

On making it on her own:

“I think it’s really important to have a job. I’m not even close to some sort of trust fund kid. When it comes to that stuff, we’re very much on our own. I’m lucky in my life to have certain things, but I lived as a broke, dirty college kid for four years.”

On Steven Tyler’s American Idol gig:

“I was definitely pushing toward a no when he got the offer. I thought it was a little cheesy, and I didn’t know what he was going to do with it…I didn’t realize the heart he was going to put into it. That’s really him, and I have a tendency to want to keep him private. It’s daunting to share him like that, but you realize how much good he’s doing and how much he loves his fans.”

On her dad’s drug problems:

“It’s one thing to hear that drugs are bad and consume your life. When you experience the level to which it can demonize someone, and that person is your parent, it instills a truth about it in you that it’s not really worth it.”

Jessie from Saved by the Bell got knocked up (and no, it wasn’t by Slater).  Elizabeth Berkley announced to People Magazine this week that she is expecting. This will be Berkley and her husband Greg Lauren’s first child.

“In life there are moments you cherish forever and this is one of them,” Berkley said to People. “Greg and I are so excited to be expecting our first child this summer. We couldn’t be more grateful and overjoyed.”

Lady Gaga revealed her Born This Way Foundation (BTWF) today at Harvard University. Her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, accompanied her as she announced the non-profit charitable foundation to students, youth, policy makers and a panel of noteworthy guests.

Oprah Winfrey interviewed Gaga in the Sanders Theatre and Gaga took the stand as if she were participating in a mock trial. She testified about her plans for the foundation in front of Deepak Chopra, Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Alyssa Rodemeyer, Professor Charles Ogletree, Dr. Susan M. Swearer and David Burtka.

BTWF aims to create a welcoming environment for youth and address issues such as  low self-confidence and bullying. It hopes to give youth the resources needed to be comfortable with their individuality. The foundation will also provide mentoring and career development and give youth the tools needed to implement change.

Lady Gaga has contributed $1.2 million to the organization. Barneys New York and The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation have also made sizable contributions to BTWF. MacArthur, Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society and The California Endowment will each assist with BTWF’s research efforts.

The Born Brave Bus will give youth additional opportunities  to get involved with BTWF.  The bus will drive across the country and act as a place for youth to feel connected and learn about civic engagement opportunities. The Born Brave Bus, along with onsite mentors, will also travel with Lady Gaga’s next US concert tour.

Jennifer Aniston was immortalised with the 2,462^nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday.

“I was born in Sherman Oaks, California,” Aniston said while receiving the star. “I am a California girl through and through, and I’m sure this has always just sort of been in the back of my mind.”

Aniston attended the ceremony with her father, John Aniston, and long-term boyfriend, Justin Theroux.

“It probably wasn’t even a dream, it was one of my wildest dreams,” she said. “I don’t think that I ever even thought that this would be here, this day. So I am utterly humbled and grateful.”

Boston Red Sox outfielder Darnell McDonald has signed on as a professional athlete representative of the high performance apparel company Respect Your Universe (RYU). McDonald has joined the ranks of other RYU representatives like 2011 Mr. Olympia Phil Heath and UFC welterweight Jon Fitch.

When first approached by RYU, McDonald did his research on the products they offer. “If I were going to start a company it would be like [RYU]. It’s a match made in heaven,” says MacDonald. He found the fact that their apparel is made from recycled materials intriguing, but it was the company’s powerful philosophy that really resonated with him and was a motivation to join the campaign.

RYU is an official sponsor of the UFC and promotes the core principles of respect, strength, honor and sustainability. RYU claims that McDonald is the perfect representative for their “Warrior Ethic” when it comes to athletics. Even before signing, McDonald carried himself with a warrior-like attitude.

McDonald is unique because he has incorporated Mixed Martial Arts into his training sessions, which helps him with flexibility, focus, and, most importantly, discipline. “You have to be focused one pitch at a time and utilize visualization,” says McDonald about his training.

He is a big fan of the MMA and is specifically focusing on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in order to elevate his game. “I appreciate what they do. I understand what it takes to compete at a level like that. It’s something I try to draw from to help me in my sport,” says McDonald.

McDonald’s love for baseball began at a very young age when he was growing up in Colorado. “Baseball is something my father got my brother and I involved in as soon as we could pick up a bat,” says McDonald.

From there McDonald worked his way up to the major leagues, with the Baltimore Orioles drafting him in 1997. He has built up his professional career playing for teams like the Minnesota Twins and the Cincinnati Reds to finally land a spot as a utility outfielder for the Red Sox in 2010.

McDonald is ecstatic to finally be a part of the Red Sox organization. “It’s a dream come true. It’s something you dream about when you’re a little kid playing in the backyard,” he says. McDonald loves the history and the fans that flock to Fenway to support Red Sox Nation.

As a representative of the RYU training apparel, McDonald will not only be wearing the products during training, but also living up to the standards the name represents. He will have press conferences and make appearances at fashion promotions. McDonald said that his favorite article of clothing to wear in training is RYU’s lightweight and comfortable hooded sweatshirts.

It is not just McDonald that is working hard for the 2012 spring training and upcoming season, the whole Red Sox organization is focused. The team is working hard on speed and agility while mixing in weight training and leaving the downfalls of last season behind them.

“We have obviously made changes in the off season. Personally you look back and think about what you could have done differently. You have to learn from your mistakes,” says McDonald. With the implementation of new gear and intense training, Darnell McDonald is doing his part to help the Red Sox strike back.

Snooki of the infamous “Jersey Shore” confided in the Huffington Post that she is open to options when it comes to her sexuality.

After a prompt from Huffington Post, reminding her of some sexual tension with her Jersey Shore roommate, Deena, Snooki said “I would consider myself bi. I’ve done stuff with girls before. But I would never be with a girl because I like…penis. But I’ve experimented.”

Snooki and JWoww, who was also present for the interview, also addressed the possibility of their roommate, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino being gay. JWoww mentioned the hints, pointing out “his posture and the way he holds his cigarettes… everything..I know the signs.”

The “Jersey Shore” duo seem to embrace the gay community, JWoww addressing her desire for gay marriage to become legal in New Jersey. She said “I was living in New York last year and now that I’m living in Jersey, I want the same thing there. My best friend couldn’t get married.”

Daniel Radcliffe, who had earlier confessed to having an alcohol problem, has now admitted that went into work for “Harry Potter” scenes still drunk. “I can honestly say I never drank at work on ‘Harry Potter.’ I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes,”

Radcliffe explained his drunken appearances with the description of his alcohol dependency, saying “I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem. People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I don’t want to go into details, but I drank a lot and it was daily – I mean nightly.”

However, since then Radcliffe has conquered his drinking addiction, saying “You either have to change something or give into that shame.” Radcliffe has been sober since 2010.

What would the Super Bowl halftime show be without a little controversy? During Madonna’s performance, guest M.I.A. made waves when she flipped off the camera at the end of her bit.

While not as shocking as Janet Jackson’s nipple being exposed on live television, the gesture garnered multiple apologies from NBC and the NFL.

“Our system was late to obscure the inappropriate gesture and we apologize to our viewers,” said NBC spokesman Christopher McCloskey, according to hollywood.com.  NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said that M.I.A. did not indicate any such gesture in her performance during the rehearsals.

Hmm, I would have thought that M.I.A. would ask permission to flip off half the nation on a “family friendly” television network.  Go figure.

Matthew Broderick took on his former role as Ferris Bueller in a Honda ad that resembled the much beloved 1986 flick. The commercial follows Broderick as he calls into work sick, then proceeds to embark on Bueller-style adventures with the aid of his trusty Honda CR-V.

A vague teaser of the commercial hit YouTube last week, fooling users and fans into thinking that a sequel was in the making. But, dreams were crushed as the full commercial was released, a full week earlier than the Super Bowl.

After a momentary lapse in their relationship, Kristin Cavallari, of the Hills, and Jay Cutler are with child.

The couple separated in July, but were soon reunited and announced their new engagement in November. Cavallari said of the break “Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end – even if it’s momentarily.”’

Cavallari and Cutler announced the pregnancy to People, saying “We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together. It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”

Cavallari’s former “Hills” costars have been supportive, Heidi Montag tweeting “@KristinCav congrats on your life changing news!!!! You are going to be such an amazing mommy!! Sending you So much love!! Xoxo.”

In the midst of her split from husband Ashton Kutcher, actress Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital on Monday for a substance abuse related issue, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement officials told the website that paramedics took Demi to the hospital after a 911 call placed at 10:45 p.m.

The actress will now attend rehab for what her rep says is “exhaustion and to improve her overall health.  TMZ, however, reports that the rehab is for substance abuse issues.

Three years after the tumultuous end of Rihanna’s relationship with the abusive Chris Brown, rumors have emerged, suggesting that the two have been hooking up for the past year.

A source says “Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that.”

However, contrary to the gossip, Chris Brown’s rep told ABC News that “He and Rihanna are just friends,” adding, “He is with his girlfriend, Karrueche, and is not cheating.” Brown has been with his present girlfriend for several months.

Other sources say that the two “meet up very casually”, but that “she comes to see him anytime she’s in L.A.”

As a result of Brown’s assault on Rihanna, there is a court order requiring the two to remain apart.

In an interview earlier this week with Men’s Journal, Mark Wahlberg responded to a question about his absence on a plane that was involved with 9/11 with a comment that offended some.

Upon being asked about his feelings on his being scheduled to be on United flight 93, Wahlberg said “f I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.’”

A widow of a 9/11 victim responded to his comment, calling it “disrespectful”.

In an apologetic statement, Wahlberg said “To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with, and to suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible. I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention.”

After a stint with cocaine at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas last year, Bruno Mars has worked the charges off.

After a performance in the Hard Rock Hotel, Mars was arrested in a bathroom for possession of 2.6 grams of cocaine. As punishment, he could have been faced with four years in state prison, but instead was fined $2,000 and given 12 months of probation.

The charges have now been dropped early on account of Mars’ cooperation. Mars’ lawyer presented the case, stating that Mars had completed his community service hours as well as attended drug education classes.

Mars is set to appear in the upcoming Grammys, having been nominated for six awards.

A year and two months after their marriage in India, Russell Brand filed for divorce from Katy Perry on Friday, the day before New Year’s Eve.

Brand cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, but rumors claim that Perry’s party lifestyle had a hand in the decision. Coincidentally, Perry was spotted partying on New Year’s Eve in West Hollywood, reportedly looking unaffected by the earlier events. Meanwhile, Brand sulked in his hotel room in London.

Because the couple did not sign a pre-nup before their wedding, Russell will apparently most likely receive half of the couple’s earnings, resulting in a raise from his usual net worth.

After being rung through the rumor mill, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have finally confirmed that they are engaged, according to New York Magazine.

Timberlake’s grandmother told The Wendy Williams Show that the engagement involved a trip to Montana and a “custom-designed ring,” over the holidays.

Beyonce and Jay Z’s wonderchild was delivered on Saturday via C-section. The famous pair welcomed newborn Blue Ivy Carter to the world at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, according to E! News.

The songstress’ sister Solange Knowles told the world on Twitter that Blue Ivy is “The most beautiful girl in the world.”  Solange was one of many celebs to congratulate the pair and welcome the new addition to he family.  Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Russell Simmons, Diddy and Young Jeezy also tweeted their congrats.

“Congratulations to Jay-Z & Beyonce on baby Ivy Blue being born,” Young Jeezy tweeted. (NOTE:  Some news outlets have reported the name to be Ivy Blue, according to MTV.com).

Fergie, who spent her new year’s eve at the grand opening of the Mirage’s 1 OAK in Las Vegas, enclosed there being a possibility of pregnancy.

At the prompting of PEOPLE, Fergie said “Maybe, who knows?” but expressed the desire to spend time with her husband of almost three years, Josh Duhamel. She said “I want to spend time with my husband, watch football, watch basketball. I’m going where the day takes me — having days where I have no schedule. That’s going to be nice and refreshing for me … a definite change”.

Fergie certainly had a busy 2011, from appearing in Dr. Pepper Cherry commercials to the unveiling of her wax replica a la Madame Tussard in Las Vegas.

Neil Patrick Harris made a guest appearance for charity on “The Price is Right,” where he had a unique bonding experience with a contestant: he was tackled.

Contestant Destiny Ramsey got a little excited to see the “How I Met Your Mother” star, and upon hearing the famous “Come on down,” Ramsey hugged and tackled Harris, according to the Boston Globe.

Harris was not mad, however.  In fact, he thought it was funny.

Mel Gibson and his wife of 31 years, Robyn Denise Moore, finalized their divorce last Friday, resulting in Gibson losing half of his $850 million fortune.

Because the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, Moore was entitled to half of Gibson’s earnings.

Gibson and Moore met in the 1970s, and were married in 1980. Their 31-year marriage resulted in seven children.

The two separated in 2006 and Moore filed for divorce from Gibson in 2009, claiming “irreconcilable differences”. The divorce will be official on January 9th.

Gibson also has a 2 year old daughter with Oskana Grigorieva, a Russian pianist. The two split in April of 2010 and Grigorieva filed a restraining order against Gibson, and accused him of domestic violence. Gibson pleaded no contest in response and was never charged.

Matthew McConaughey surprised his long-term girlfriend, Camila Alves, with a gift on Sunday that she might not have been expecting: an engagement. The couple has been together for five years, complete with their two children, Levi and Vida.

McConaughey posted the news publicly through his twitter, writing “Just asked Camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas”.

Alves is a model and recently hosted the third season of Bravo network’s “Shear Genius”.

McConaughey will be appearing in Steven Soderbergh’s film “Magic Mike” as Dallas, the owner of a male strip club. “Magic Mike” is due in theaters June 29, 2012.

Ex-Nfl star Deion Sanders is having some very public family drama due to his daughters’ love of Twitter, according to TMZ.

In 140 characters or less, daughter Deiondra is tearing apart her stepmother, Pilar Sanders. Deiondra, 19, called Pilar a “gold diggin hoe,” and claimed that Pilar was a terrible wife to her father.

The daughter alleged that Pilar lied when she said she found out about her divorce from the football star via TMZ.

“#HowYouDidntKnow but yo boxes have been packed for weeks now,” Diondra tweeted.

She continued to tear into Pilar, writing “All u had to do was be a supportive wife. Only thing u ever cared about doing with my dad is reality shows.”

“Pilar stop tryna play the victim. Maybe if u would of actually loved my dad and not loved the life he gave you we would be here today.”

Pilar’s lawyer, Larry Friedman, told TMZ that “Marriage is a relationship between two adults and it doesn’t involve engaging this kind of faceless accusations made by a child.”

“If Deion has something to say, he’ll battle it out at the courthouse,” Friedman continued. “Meanwhile Pilar is still trying to protect her children and save her marriage.”

Late rapper Heavy D died from a pulmonary embolism caused by deep leg vein thrombosis according to TMZ.  The rapper’s flight back to L.A. after a Michael Jackson memorial concert in Europe may have been a factor in his death as well.

TMZ reports that a pulmonary embolism is a blockage of one or more arteries in the lungs.  The condition is usually caused by a blood clot that traveled from a different part of the body.

Heavy D’s blood clot was formed in his legs, which is a symptom of long plane flights, such as his from Wales to L.A. on the day before he died.

The L.A. County Coroner’s Office says that the artist also had heart disease, which may have contributed to his death.  The death was ruled as natural.

Heavy D. died on November 9, 2011 at 44 years old.

Irish songstress Sinead O’Connor outdid Kim Kardashian with her most recent move: she is getting a divorce from her husband after just 16 days of marriage!

O’Connor announced today that she will end her marriage to Barry Herridge because of the disapproval of his family and friends, according to the BBC.

The singer said they “made a mistake rushing into getting married,” but are parting “amicably.”  She asked that the media respect her soon-to-be ex’s privacy.

On her blog, O’Connor blamed “certain people in [her] husband’s life.”  She also cited their wedding night, on which she dragged him around in search of marijuana, as a source of their relationship issues.

The Fresh Prince is no longer welcome to live with his Auntie and Uncle in Bel Air.  Janet Hubert, who played the original Aunt Viv on Fresh Prince, recently told TMZ that Will Smith is an “asshole” and that she would never reunite with him.  Hubert was referencing the recent picture Smith posted on Facebook of the whole cast together, sans Aunt Viv.

Hubert blames Smith for her firing from the show, she revealed to TMZ. She said she refused to suck up to Smith, so she was let go.

“There will never be a reunion … as I will never do anything with an asshole like Will Smith. He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up,” Hubert said. “This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, has filed for a divorce from the NBA star after allegedly catching him cheating, again.

Vanessa Bryant has remained with her husband for 10 and a half years, suffering through multiple infidelities and Bryant’s sexual assault on a woman in 2003. A source said “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough. This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Vanessa, who signed the divorce petition on December 1, is asking for joint-custody of the couple’s daughters and spousal support. She is being represented by Laura Wasser and Samantha Klein.

Crazy Comedienne Joan Rivers is psyched about her daughter Melissa’s new relationship…with a porn king.

TMZ reports that Melissa Rivers and Steve Hirsch are happily dating with Joan’s approval.

“He makes a great living … and he’s Jewish,” the elder Rivers told TMZ.Hirsch is the CEO of Vivid Entertainment, the company responsible for releasing the sex tapes of Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson and Kendra Wilkinson.

Rivers added that another perk of her daughter’s new XXX boyfriend is the lube discount.

“I’m 78 years old and now I get a discount on lubricant,” she exclaimed.

We haven’t seen the pictorial yet, but someone leaked the cover of Lindsay Lohan’s issue of Playboy, showing her naked, straddling the famous bunny logo.

The legally troubled actress was paid a fortune to bare it all for Playboy, but her mother, Dina, has promised that the spread will be “tasteful” and will not show full-frontal nudity.

Lindsay graces the cover of the January/February 2012 issue of the magazine, and we’re sure that curiosity will drive sales.

Giuliana Rancic, E! News anchor and host of Fashion Police, announced her fight with breast cancer in October, but after an unsuccessful double lumpectomy, she will be undergoing a double mastectomy next week.

Rancic and her husband, Bill Rancic, appeared on NBC’s Today to address the new treatment. She said “I would like to take the stigma away. ‘Mastectomy’, the word seemed so scary to me at first. After doing research and seeing the advancements, the surgery has come a long way from 20 years ago. The results can be incredible. Not only can it save your life, but you can come out feeling healthier and with a positive self-image”.

Rancic mentioned how her desire to have children factored into her decision-making process, saying “If I’d chosen to just do another lumpectomy and then do radiation, and then do anti-estrogen therapy, which means two to five years of medication, that basically puts me into early menopause. Then I would have to put off having a baby for several years.”

She also spoke of her husband’s endless support: “Bill said to me, ‘I just need you around for the next 50 years, kid. I don’t care what you look like, I don’t care about the physical portion of this, I just need you around for the next 50 years. So let’s get you healthy.’”

The encouragement Rancic has received from colleagues, friends, and strangers has been overwhelming. E! News co-host, Ryan Seacrest said “Her positivity throughout this ordeal is a true inspiration”.

On the twitter front, the support has been just as vast. Teresa Giudice wrote “@GiulianaRancic My prayers are with you sweetie. You’re an inspiration to women everywhere for sharing your story. Love you! xx” and Trista Sutter tweeted “@GiulianaRancic I haven’t experienced ur struggle, but immensely respect u sharing it w/those who need 2 know that they aren’t alone. Prayers.”
