Aftershocks from Tuesday’s 5.8 magnitude earthquake have been light and sporadic so far, affording to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The main quake struck at 1:51 p.m. A 2.8 struck the same area at 2:46 and a 2.2 struck at 3:20.
Elsewhere, a very mild 2.2 quake struck just west of Albany at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday.
There have been a lot more, still mild, aftershocks from the 1:46 a.m. 5.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Colorado. Nine aftershocks, measuring as high as 3.9 have struck, with none coming since the Virginia quake.
