Rev up those lancers, Gears of War 4 is only three weeks away.

Microsoft revealed a launch trailer this morning showcasing several cinematic sequences from the highly anticipated sequel, including some good looks at the main characters, J.D. Fenix, Kait and Del. J.D. is actually the son of Marcus Fenix, the gravelly voiced protagonist of the first three Gears games. He also joins the resistance, though his playability remains to be seen as the 25 year gap between games have left him a bit worse for wear.

As part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play anywhere program, if you purchase the game for the Xbox One, it will also be available on your Windows 10 PC, letting you transfer your progress on the fly.

Gears of War 4 is available for Xbox One and Windows 10 on Oct. 11 but if you picked up the $100 special edition you can start bashing alien brains on Oct. 7.
