In a short and special Nintendo Direct celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pokémon, Nintendo revealed details about their upcoming entries into the franchise titled Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

Little details were revealed but these new 3DS games are expected to come out this holiday season in 9 languages. These games add the inclusion of Traditional and Simplified Chinese to the already existing options available in previous generations.

Also revealed was that the new digital version of Pokemon Red and Blue will also be tradeable with all current versions including Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green first released on Game Boy back on February 26, 1996 in Japan, and in that time have spawned numerous sequels, spin-offs, and memorable characters that are hard to forget. Are you going to keep catching them all?
