Calling all TV fans: Networks are bringing in a number of new series this season, and many of them are what critics are calling a must-see. From vampires to super heroes, these new shows are sure to leave you at the edge of your seat. Here are six shows that you cannot miss this season.

Dracula

If you’re a fan of the Twilight Sagas or Vampire Diaries, this is the show for you. With romance, horror, and well (of course) vampires, Dracula is the most anticipated TV drama series of the season. The series stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who plays Dracula as a businessman in London who is out to seek revenge on people who have mistreated him in the past. The show takes a turn when Dracula ends up falling in love with a woman whom he believes is his reincarnated wife.

The Michael J. Fox Show

Marty McFly is back! Well, kind of, at least. Michael J. Fox is starring in a brand new series which gives his fans an insight on what his life is truly like living with Parkinson’s. Fox plays a New York anchor named Mike Henry who finds out he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

He ends up having to put his career on hold and he becomes a stay at home dad. Henry is  faced with all kinds of challenges, the biggest one, trying to get himself back in the newsroom. The show premiered on September 26 on NBC. Fans of Fox are excited to see him back on screen and so far the show has received some great reviews. The Crazy Ones

Speaking of comebacks, have you heard Robin Williams will be coming back to the screen as well? That’s right TV lovers, Robin Williams is starring in a new TV comedy series called The Crazy Ones and guess who else is joining him… Sarah Michelle Gellar! These two will be playing the role of father and daughter and trust us folks, there will be plenty of funny lines that will leave you laughing until your stomach hurts.

Robin Williams plays the character of Simon who, with his daughter Sydney (Gellar), runs an ad agency company. What’s even more exciting than Robin Williams coming back to the screen are the guest stars who will be making an appearance on the show like Kelly Clarkson! The Crazy Ones, which premiered on September 26 on CBS, is one show you cannot miss this season.

Hostages

If you’re into suspense, this is the thriller for you. Hostages is a suspenseful drama about a surgeon who’s faced with a hostage crisis involving her family and a moral dilemma involving the President of the United States. The surgeon, who is played by Toni Collette, is faced with a political conspiracy involving an FBI agent who has taken her family hostage.

She is told to assassinate the President during a surgery operation which Collette is the primary surgeon of. The plot thickens as Dr. Sanders is faced with a moral dilemma between saving her family or the President. This is one drama series that will leave you at the edge of your seat! The series premiered on September 23 but it is definitely worth catching yourself up. You can watch missed episodes online at CBS.com.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Calling all Marvel fans! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has been one of this season’s most anticipated series. Brought to you by Disney and Marvel, the series takes place after the battle of New York in the latest Avengers movie. The main character of the series is Phil Coulson of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Phil Coulson, who’s being played by Clark Gregg, puts together an elite team to face off any supervillains that threaten the world. Critics say S.H.I.E.L.D is full of adventure and action and you can catch all of it on ABC.

Sleepy Hollow

If you’re looking for more horror and thrill this Halloween then you must tune into the new series Sleepy Hollow. It has so far received great reviews and even scored highly on imdb.com. Ichabod Crane, played by Tom Mison, has awaken to find himself two and a half centuries through time and his enemy, the headless horseman, after him. The biggest secrets have yet to be revealed as viewers find out he’s not the only villain in town. Sleepy Hollow is full of suspense, drama, and horror. The series premiered on September 16 but you can still see all of the episodes you have missed online.
