Over at http://www.change.org/GTAV, the sixth largest campaign in the site’s history is half a million signatures into launching a petition to bring the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto V to the PC.     The main argument revolves around being able to mod the game in the most powerful machines for insane amounts of fun. It seems pretty solid.

Rockstar has always acted like the cool kid on the block. You look up to them for the awesome things they own and fight to be the first to hang out with them. However, when the cool kid knows they are cool, it can get to their head.

The lack of an announcement to bring Grand Theft Auto V to the PC solidifies Rockstar’s philosophy of playing with their fans due to them not being cool enough yet. Every numbered GTA entry has made its way into computers through a ridiculously difficult to balance port, usually a year or so after the release of the console versions. Despite this consistency some fans have taken to themselves to make sure Rockstar follows through with this unspoken promise. There will always be people complaining and due to the criminal lack of Red Dead Redemption on the PC, their argument is not invalid.

Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people’s lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.

I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it’ll make many people very happy!

Sincerely,
[Your name]
