GTA V’s combat looks like it’s right out of Max Payne 3 and I’m perfectly fine with that

So there’s been a lot of talk going around lately about GTA V and it’s similarities to last year’s Max Payne 3, also from Rockstar. In fact, Youtube user DataRace also posted this video showing that two games share more than it’s fair share of similarities.

I’m more than OK with this. Can we all agree that as fun as GTA IV was, the combat and shooting mechanics weren’t exactly fun? I loved Max Payne 3’s gritty and ultra responsive shooting mechanic and love that it’s being implemented into the next title in Rockstar’s flagship title. What say you?
