Along with the pricing and release info for the Wii U, Nintendo officially unveiled Nintendo TVii, a new service that brings all of your favorite TV shows, movies and sports to the new console.

The new service will allow you to search for, find and watch content from services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and even Live TV right from the Wii U console, and interact using the Wii U gamepad.

The service also allows users to interact via services like Twitter and Facebook. You’re also going to be able to recommend shows and movies to friends via the console. The service will also connect to sources like IMDB and Wikipedia for more information on any particular title.

One of the cool features showed someone watching college football on the TV screen and using the Wii U pad as a secondary screen to look at stats.
