Capcom Vancouver, known by most as the designers of Dead Rising 2 have announced that they will be cutting 7% of their workforce — which equals out to about 20 employees.

Capcom tweeted the news earlier this week, but were quick to note that this shouldn’t be a sign that the studio is in trouble. Saying that the layoffs were “a result of unsuitable fit with the studio goals,”  Capcom quickly sent out another tweet, saying that the studio was “still growing and aggressively seeking great talent.”  It’s clear that the layoffs were more of a proactive move, than a reactive one.
