Put aside your guitars and drum sets. Harmonix wants you to remember how old school rhythm games were played with Rock Band Blitz, coming to PlayStation Network on August 28th and to Xbox Live Arcade on August 29th.
The controller-based music game its compatible with all songs available on the Rock Band Music Store as well as songs from past Rock Band games. The game will also launch with more than 20 songs including the newly announced tracks below:
- Avenged Sevenfold – “So Far Away”
- Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe – “We Are Young”
- Kool & The Gang – “Jungle Boogie”
- My Chemical Romance – “Sing”
All songs on Rock Band Blitz can also be played on Rock Band 3, meaning you can plug in your bass and drums and jam like a rock star if you get too tired of tapping buttons.
