We don’t do a lot of coverage on tools and home improvement, but there was something just so primal about this, it got my Tim Taylor dander up.

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation (Or just Milwaukee) announced a cordless, compact electric ratchet that puts out 35 ft-lbs. of torque at 250 RPM.

That’s strong.

The tool weighs only 2 lbs. and can reach extremely right spaces, making it easier to remove nuts from tight spaces of a car without needing clearance to move a traditional ratchet.

“The M12 Cordless Ratchet not only provides a compact, battery-powered solution for one of the most widely used hand tools in the world, but also presents a clear and effective solution for users who are frustrated with the hassles of using pneumatic tools,” says Robert Shaw, product manager for cordless at Milwaukee. “The new cordless ratchets provide a portable solution for professionals who struggle with dirty, cumbersome air hoses and the inherent service costs of pneumatic tools on a daily basis.”
