Authorities are investigating a threatening letter containing white powder sent to talk show host Craig Ferguson at CBS television studios on Tuesday night.
Two employees opened the letter before the taping of “The Late Night Show,” according to the Los Angeles police and the FBI.
The letter is believed to be from Europe said Officer Karen Rayner of the LAPD, the LA Times blog reported.
The late night host joked about the incident on his Twitter, saying “Finally some office drama that isn’t about Craig’s hair! The hair is hot. Anthrax scare not so much.”
This comes after host David Letterman received a death threat on an extremist online forum.
