Casey Anthony did not walk free Thursday morning, as many had speculated.

Found not guilty on Tuesday of murdering her daughter, Caylee, Anthony has avoided a possible death penalty. But the 25-year-old was found guilty of four counts of providing false information to law-enforcement officers investigating Caylee’s 2008 disappearance and death.

The judge sentenced Anthony to the maximum possible one year in prison for each of the four counts, to be served consecutively. Anthony has already served three years since her murder arrest, and she may be free as early as later this month for good behavior.

Afterward, it is widely reported that Anthony may sell her story and make millions from television, movie, and media deals.
