RadarOnline reported Sunday that Lindsay Lohan, 24, is in talks to star in her first film “Escaping the Game,” a drama to be filmed in the US and Spain, since finishing her mandatory three-month stay at a California rehab facility. Lohan’s role in the film is going to be an investigator hired in a case involving missing celebrities who fake their own deaths and create a new life for themselves on a remote island.

Producer Nathan Folks told the source that the deal is expected to be finalized within the next few weeks. He also said, “She wants to do it. It’s about celebs who become very famous and can’t take it.”

The actress, who is on probation for a 2007 DUI case, was recently charged with felony grand theft over a missing $2,500 necklace.

Despite what she’s been going through, Folks said, “We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24/7. Lindsay and I’ve discussed it and she’s already agreed to the condition.”
