Activision has been quite kill happy lately, giving the axe to Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and True Crime: Hong Kong, and now it seems that Bizarre Creations is the mega publisher’s latest victim, with the studio set to close it’s doors on Friday.

The closure shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as word of the studio’s impending doom since last November, but hope persisted that Bizarre, most famous for games like Project Gotham Racing, Geometry Wars and Blur would find a buyer.

The studio’s last game was the James Bond shooter 007: Bloodstone.
