A “Glee” rep told the LA Times on Saturday that “Several ‘Glee’ cast members have come down with tonsillitis, forcing the show to shut down production today.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, due to the same reason, production on the series has been canceled for today although the cast and crew are currently shooting the post-Super Bowl episode and were supposed to film one of the biggest musical numbers this evening on location. However, production will resume on Monday and the scenes planned for tonight will be rescheduled for January.

Also, Dianna Agron tweeted, “Note to self…should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure.”
