Whatever drama is happening between Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 studio Infinity Ward and publisher Activision is clearly having no effect on Activision’s other annualized developer Treyarch.

Treyarch released a world premier trailer for their latest, Call of Duty: Black Ops early this  morning (while decent people slept) and it’s confusing, it’s dramatic, and it’s wonderful.

Please feel free to speculate and offer insight as to just what we’re seeing, what time-period it’s from, and what you think we can expect from this latest Call of Duty installment.

allright, im confused. i want to guess vietnam because there are alot of jungle scenes (and the hueys GOD LOVES THE HUEYS) and i know people are going to say that but i saw an AUG in one of the snippets (maybe it takes place at the end of the war?) but at the end there is an SR71 so its definetly in between the 60’s to the 90’s. maybe its a secret war between russia and usa? god i hope to death its not similar to mw2
