A Xbox Live Newsbeat issued by Microsoft last week indicated downloadable content for the underwater shooter BioShock 2 would arrive this week, but that report was erroneous.

Xbox Live’s community man, Major Nelson, posted a statement on his blog, announcing the DLC won’t hit this week and did not specify as to when it will.

The DLC in question, the 800 MS Point Rapture Metro Pack, contains six new multiplayer maps designed from the game’s single-player campaign, as well as three new Achievements/Trophies and a Rebirth Feature, which will allow those reaching level 50 in multiplayer the ability to start all over, like Prestige in Modern Warfare 2.
