Bungie and Microsoft today announced three tiers of “Halo” fandom for Halo: Reach available to gamers when it releases this Fall.

First there’s the standard pack. Nothing special here. Just the game .

The Limited Edition has more goodies. Packed inside it is the game and manual inside a black ONI box, exclusive Elite armor set for multiplayer, and an “Artifact bag containing Dr. Halsey’s personal journal and other classified documents and effects that unravel long held secrets from the "Halo" universe.”

But here’s where it gets serious. The Legendary Edition has all the above, plus individually molded, hand-painted and individually numbered Noble Team statue crafted by the artisans at McFarlane Toys, UNSC-themed custom packaging and “a multiplayer Spartan armor effect,” which is actually a flaming helmet.

I love “Halo,” but no way is the Legendary Edition worth $150.
