NEW YORK — Blast was asked to come down and check out a musical event being put on by Alonzo Harris. He and his partner and younger brother, David Harris, better known as “Swagg” started a company called SuBB Zero Entertainment. Its a production company as well as musical endeavor. The event was called MBK Showcase: We’ve Got Next 2, held at the Highline Ballroom on W. 16th Street.

The showcase was to introduce what’s happening for the next decade for MBK. They introduced some of their new artists, Jermaine Paul, (former background singer for Alicia Keys) Elle Varner (who has a deal with J Records), Black Buddafly (who also has a deal with J), Letoya Luckett, 12-year-old phenom Gabi Wilson, and gospel group Livre.

Most of the artists have albums dropping this year.
