Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2 became the fastest-selling first-party title for PlayStation 3 today as the company reported sales of over 3.5 million since the game launched in October. What’s more, the game, according to Sony, has an online user contingency of over 1.5 million active users.

The statistics come from SCEA product development VP Scott Rohde, who also said the game “established a new standard for games developed on the PS3 platform.”

“We’re incredibly excited to see all of the continued innovations and platform-defining games that will come from the creative minds at Naughty Dog,” said Rohde.

In other sales milestone news, LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, according to GameSpot, has sold over 7 million units on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September 2008.

LucasArts plans to support The Force Unleashed further with the Hoth Mission Pack on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, previously only available as part of the Ultimate Sith Edition at retail. The content is available today on the PSN and February 23 on Xbox Live for $9.99.
