Happy first of February. Tonight is all about food. The premiere of “Ultimate Cake Off 2” is on TLC at 10, and the season finale of “Worst Cooks in America is on Food Network at the same time.

Other premieres tonight include Showtime’s “Secret Diary of a Call Girl,” Bravo’s “Kell on Earth,” and “Blood, Sweat & T-shirts” on Planet Green — all at 10 p.m., so set the DVR.

NBC announced that “Parks and Recreation” was good for a third season. The show averages 5.1 million total viewers per week.

MTV is allowing us to experience “Jersey Shore” for a second season of 12 episodes. Pauly D, Mike, Snooki, Jenni, Sammi, Vinny, and Ronnie will be there. An uncensored DVD of season one will be available late this month.

Finally this morning, TBS ordered a pilot for an hour-long comedy called “Glory Daze” about four college freshmen in the 1980s who pledge a fraternity in Wisconsin.
