Just crowned the second-highest grossing movie of all time after “Titanic,” “Avatar” continues to stir up controversy over its politics. Religion has entered the mix as The Vatican publicly criticizes the blockbuster.

The Vatican newspaper, “L’Osservatore Romano,” said the film "gets bogged down by a spiritualism linked to the worship of nature.” The Vatican radio station said it turns "ecology into the religion of the millennium."

Moviegoers are apparently not discouraged by the controversy, however, and “Avatar” has raked in $1.34 billion so far.

Personaly I think that religion KILLS!!!
People worshiped NATURE long before they were brainwashed to belive in a 2000 years old book, so the Pope and all the religious groups can SHOVE it…Humans will always feel what is right.
    Thank You.
