A teaser-trailer for Max Payne 3 surfaced this afternoon, though Rockstar Games might not have intended for it to.
The 30-second spot looks professional enough to be a product of Rockstar and we’re familiar with the “Coming Winter 2009” tag-line, so whether it be genuine or not, we’re talking about the game, and Rockstar certainly must enjoy that.
The time-code running at the bottom-left side of the screen might indicate the trailer wasn’t ready for external eyes, leading us to believe it could be a leak, but again, doesn’t really matter.
What we do see, is Max. And a dirtier, grittier, more embattled Max at that. This could be the Max Payne we’ve been waiting for.
Max Payne 3 is scheduled for a Winter 2009 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
