Today in predictable news, Major Nelson of Xbox Live revealed the top 10 lists for XBL usership for the week, naming Halo 3 and Battlefield 1943 dominators of the space we know and love.

Can’t believe a game from 2007 is still #1? Well, believe it. Halo 3 is stupid-popular. Hell, I’ve played it almost every day for its life (except for a minor break to max out COD:4), and Battlefield 1943, that’s no surprise either. A tested franchise + download only + pure-win multiplayer + a race to 43 million kills to unlock a new map = certain success.

I can’t believe how long some people have been playing Battlefield. There were people with 35-40 hours played when the game had been out for just over two days.
