Oftentimes, licensed games get the shaft, as they are rushed out to release alongside a movie or to coincide with a popular television shows run. That isn’t the case of Batman: Arkham Asylum–Batman is one of the most popular characters in all of comics, regardless of whether a movie has come out recently or not. Eidos passed along a villains trailer for our viewing pleasure, as we count down the time until we get to kick baddies in the face and throw baterangs at them. Let’s hope this game turns out more like those licensed titles that come out because the series is awesome, and not like the ones that release alongside a related product.
The Joker, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn and Bane all make an appearance in this trailer, so if you’ve been waiting for another look at them–or just want to hear The Joker’s maniacal laugh or Poison Ivy’s sultry voice one more time–then make sure to watch.
