The beans have been counted and Call of Duty: World at War’s first batch of DLC, boringly named Map Pack 1 has been downloaded over 2 million times across both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation Three platforms.‚  Figures relating to PC habits were not unveiled, but you’ve got to think that with the PC tally, the total combined number must be actually significantly higher.

In case you forgot, as we reported earlier this month,‚  the Map Pack sold a staggering 1 million copies in the first weekend alone. Damn.

“This is a huge milestone and we are so appreciative of our incredibly supportive community who continue to play and enjoy the game,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “We’re hard at work on Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 and look forward to delivering that in June.”

And if some is good, more is absolutely better as Treyarch and Activision have plans for Map Pack 2 (come on, really?) due out with four new maps and tons of goodies sometime in June.

Milestones are great occasions to drink to, oh and it’s Cinco De Mayo..too easy.‚  Cheers!
