Apogee Software is ready to make a come-back, and they’re ready to do it in nuclear proportions. At this years E3, Apogee will be reviving some of their old classics in addition to publishing some brand new ones.

Leading the charge is fan favorite Duke Nukem. Apogee is bringing three new missions for Duke, called the Duke Nukem Trilogy, to the handheld console market in conjunction with 3D Realms and MachineWorks Northwest LLC. The Trilogy ‘s episodes will be Critical Mass, Chain Reaction, and Proving Grounds.

“It’s funny how what’s old is new again in this industry,” Apogee co-founder, Scott Miller, said in a press release. “Many of the things Apogee pioneered are back in style, so it only makes sense to bring back Apogee and its properties with a visionary team that will once again create innovation for gamers around the world.”
