After all those losses, we heard the speculation about Willie Randolph’s job. Well now, it seems that the Mets have decided to fire him after a win. Bench coach Jerry Manuel will take over as the Mets manager after Randolph was let go at 3:15 AM EDT following a 9-6 Mets win over the Angels.

The move comes with the Mets one game under .500 at 34-35.
